BFB at least his team did win the WAFL premiership which him and all the WP supporters ahead of us this season.

My next comment in no way takes anything away from WP but I think Freo like EP played their GF the week before and whilst some say Hawthorn were average they knew what to do to win the game, best team on the day won same as last week!

Well I feel happy for him grump, as the pfc are a long way from there. I would say 7 of the tradional WAFL clubs have some sort of pride, spirit or never die attitude not Petth. Freo had a soft draw a soft finish to the season and beat the cats ( I will give credit) then beat a depleted swans and kicked 1 goal in the first half. Outplayed the hawks in the 3 game fu---- game over. Now I hear shite about next year. They say a week is a long time in football well so is a year and I would expect their draw to be a lot tougher than what was given to them this year.

I agree grump. I thought the dorks played their GF last week, but I had a feeling their tails were up and were going to go on with it - what do I know?? We can say 'if the dorks kicked straight....', but honestly, if Hawthorn played as well as they can, it would have been over a 3/4 time.

Oh what a surprise, the Trolls have come out to play! Because these people have no original thoughts of their own, the only thing they can do is try and taunt other supporters. Pathetic!

Freo played their guts out today. Hawthorn deserved to win because they hit more targets, took more of their opportunities and tackled ferociously. Some of the Freo players will rue some of the shots at goal that they missed. I'm thinking of Pavlich, Ballantyne and Fyfe in particular. I don't know why Ballantyne didn't pass that ball to Walters in the 2nd, some would call it selfish, it may have been just indecisive.
It wasn't a pretty game to watch but it is Lyons style of football and it has got Freo further than they have ever got before. I don't think they lost any credibility at all today, just beaten by a better side on the day.
