How good was the poxy WA (afl) footy survey in the worst (Saturday) pfffft. About 66% favoured the alignment & 33% against it, almost exactly the same figures (in reverse) as how many go to WAFL games - 33% go & 66% dont go, but more interesting was that 11% dont support a WAFL team which comes in equal 4th spot with the ferals (behind sd,sf & joondy in that order)...what a load of crap...

I would take it with a grain of salt. A media outlet more interested in their AFL ties and circulation than running a proper poll amongst WAFL supporters. It is obvious if they held a poll it would contain many more AFL supporters than WAFL supporters because of the imbalance of the supporter bases.
Now surely they should have had the poll amongst the WAFL die hards as these are the people who matter and support our Once great Grass roots game not the AFL Lemmings who are brainwashed by the AFL media in a game staged for TV and the mass of brainwashed who know no better. Days of our lives and the Young and Restless had huge followings and went for many many years. The comparison is similar.
Back to the Drawing board West and lets not just CATER to the AFL hordes

When a bloke who live's & breathe's footy like myself doesnt even fill in or read crap like that, that should tell you something ...that sort of garbage survey is only for the anchors of this world!!

Anchor you have NO IDEA how many games of footy I see LIVE over a weekend & have done for 33 seasons which would probably surpase whatever you have seen LIVE in your 70+ years!!

I couldn't have said it better myself. I'm unclear of the survey as I never actually saw a copy but probably do not need to! Being contained in the mentioned publication which we must remember is owned and sourced by Eastern States interests who have no favour with the Wafl whatsoever. The same could be said of many of the WA radio stations and why, oh why are they broadcasting too much material from the eastern states, but that is another story.
The mentioned newspaper, which is supposed to be a west australian can report, show big sport stories, have in depth sport stories and everything else coming out of the eastern states. Yet local sports just down the raad, hardly receive a mention!?

All you had to do was log on line and do the survey boys,a simple thing to do even for you guys.
So BH if you don't follow the WAFL as closely as you that mean we don't live and breathe football.!!!!Time to come out of the time warp and see the roses.
I have probably seen more and will see more football that you will ever see.I was almost an old man when you started watching the game.Trouble is you got your head stuck so far up your clackers that you can't see they sun shine.

although I am a 100 per cent WAFL person, I actually agree with anchorman here,I thought the survey was an accurate reflection of the true sentiments of the footy public in WA.

Anyone here that thinks that most people in WA care about the WAFL , before the two local afl clubs is totally out of touch delusional and living in the past, in fact in is quite hard to beleive just how out of touch some of you are n here.
