TOSG the one positive if ozfooty shuts down there will be no forum for your puerile and inane comments. Given the performance or lack thereof more pointedly and accurately of your spectators when the few that were present for the 2015 Grand Final deserted prior to the presentation after the Grand Final. Of the few that stayed to say their response to each player being presented with their medal was tepid at best would be to grossly overstate the warmth of the crowd's reaction.

42 you appear to be an educated articulate man and fair game for you to criticise certain comments but you have let yourself and your undoubted high standards down by concentrating on one particular posters comments and not being shocked and ashamed at the comments by one of your own that wish severe harm and injury upon opposition players who I'm sure have little or nothing to do with this site. I'm so disappointed in you Swan.

SS I think you are a reasonable and fair person so I am going to put this to you on the basis that you will at least think about what has really happened here. I am aware that you probably know the Subiaco posters that have been involved in this thread so I will keep my comments measured.

If you go back to page 2 of this thread you will see the following comments from the aforementioned Subiaco posters in the wake of yesterdays bad loss for Swans

“The WAFL needs to step in and perhaps drop Swans down to ammo's until they can get themselves together on and off the field”
And the other guy said “jokes aside outer...the bogans are an embarrassment to the comp at the moment...just watch the loyal fans drop off like flies if they haven't already”
I put it to you that these statements were not genuine attempts to discuss issues but deliberate provocation to get the emotional response that they ended up getting. That’s called trolling and then to get all offended when they got a strong reaction smacks of hypocrisy on their part.

I want to make it clear that I do not in any way condone the swearing or wishing injuries on people. I find that as abhorrent as you do. But really SS what did they expect, a bunch of flowers and a thanks for your comment?

My frustration is that I have been trying to generate some discussions in the Swans thread by posting some reflections about the game but I have found my posts are consistently lost amongst the personal abuse that has been provoked by these two guys in Swans threads this season. It is not witty banter, it is nasty stuff designed to provoke a reaction. Yes the reaction has been over the top but I think we all share the responsibility to treat each other with respect and try and be constructive if we have to criticise and not behave like 5 year olds.

Unfortunately the standard of discussions on Ozfooty have deteriorated this season and it reminds me of the death throes of the footygoss site.

Thanks for reading and even if you don’t agree with what I have said I hope this gives you an insight into how disappointed I am in the demise of what has been a really good discussion site for WAFL people.

mike ...that is a load of crap....it's called banter...giving each other a bit of curry just like the stuff that happens between supporters at the game. for you to come out and condone a post that uses the C and F bomb plus wants opposition players to get physically hurt is very poor on your part. Say what you will but nothing outer or I posted deserved a reaction like the one we got. If the shoe was on the other footy and outer or I posted the same stuff as Swandog we would have been banned based on what happened to Gremar....and fair enough too. It's obvious Bogan supporters can say what they like on here but the rest of us have to tow the line. This is a public forum and you of all people should make sure appropriate standards are maintained...but obviously it depends on which team you support.

Good to see a Subi supporter as the voice of reason.

Anyhow back to the footy, going to be a tough year.
Lack of pace and skill through the middle, no key forwards capable of holding a pack mark and no pace on the deck.

Only one player of any note for the dockers - Tucker, the rest won't help, too big and slow, perfect for wafl but not afl.

Alby continues to find the footy and deserves a League recall, was great to see Greaser & JD back on the park and both showed the qualities of a League regular, Rudy just has to play League as he has a certain something we currently dont have a lot of, Kirkup down back starting to get back to the form we know he is capable of, Watson & Holman both showing a League debut is knocking on the door, Hodge was another before pulling up a bit sore, Slater is one who has genuine leg speed which is something that is noticeably lacking in the ones, Murray can really find the footy just needs to eliminate a few errors in his kicking, Warwick is the best kick in the club by a mile and needs to be the designated kicker in from behinds in the League, Hackett is a real goer tho slight in build just bores in and is pretty slick deserves a go, Maguire was thrown into the middle were he had a great Colts season in 14 before doing a knee last year and really started to find the footy and is a real tough nut, Timmy Yorkshire up from the Colts, Power, Colbung, Sutton, Stack & Ipsen all show a bit and finally Dylan Smith is one who is really starting to find the form and confidence we know he is capable of clunking his marks and kicking well and a League debut is very close.
On the current League side once again our mids were smashed although Griffin & Hannath were giving FART an armchair service inside but a few of our more experienced bigger bodies in there are so completely out of form and lacking in confidence it isnt funny, our forwards are struggling with the lack of inside 50 service tho they have to make use of the few times it does get down there by locking the ball in our half, whilst the backs as per usual have kept us from getting complete hidings in the first 3 games tho it might be time to swing a few forward & mid to give us other options as the current mix is unfortunately just totally out of form and confidence plus we have been let down badly by some currently not playing who continue to let our great club down.

Hopefully we can get this topic back on track without the inept output from the brain dead who this does not concern!

Can you honestly believe these self righteous $cumi flog$ ..this is a SD vs FART thread last time I looked of which none of the aforementioned $cumi $oftcock $impletons would have been in attendance so other than trying to evoke a reaction in which they got both barrels from SD not sure why they would be interested in it and then they have the hide to go off crying to the mods like the biggest bunch of sit down to piss softcocks that have ever graced the internet. Lucky for them their footy side aren't as $oft as these "few" a$$clowns!
Now back to the SD vs FART clash as ordinary as we have played so far I wouldn't be giving up totally on us as some already have on here we couldn't have played any worse in the first 3 games.

Pretty much know that without those AFL scumbags Swans would have run them out of town - the reserves result proves it

I disregard the end margin it means fark all to be honest

Swans fought it out

And fark Mandurah they won't exist at all in a couple of years and good riddance to putrid rotten stinking meat

I think my old team South Mandurah Falcons would give Swans a run for their money at the moment. Get Rod Tregenza out of retirement to kick 20

Oh look if it isn't the 60yo cry baby sook back, must have run out of tissues after SD hurt her feelings.
And as for the illiterate uneducated $impleton twuckie from York via Mandurah that needs daddy to give him emotional backup support on the internet at your age Mat you must live a quality life posting being a professional troller. All must be not so rosey on the home front hey?
