Like Claremont, how many Peel folk were at the ground apart from the players, officials, coaches, support staff, etc?

Not that many you'd reckon.Their roll up at away games is bad enough, but it also demonstrates Dockers Fans don't really give a shit about their partnership with Peel.

See what you've done John Ditchburn?

I don't expect bugger all Claremont fans on Sunday either, hurry up games v West Perth and Perth where we will get a decent crowd when both teams have strong followings

No you won't

Would you also consider Mikeh as a Peel supporter!!!!!Mike is a Swans man through and through. He like me would follow the fortunes of the Dockers players.
Unfortunatley Peel do not have a stron supporter base.So I guess not many travel.I guess the same could be said about a few other sides.Claremont for example.I read where other here say that Swans don't have a big away following as well.Subiaco don't get huge crowds either home or away.
The constant braying, like donkeys about Peel and the Dockers has become very assinine.
I am waiting for someone to come up with the idea that Fremantle and the Eagles are responsible for the tide movement as well as every other problem we have in this world.
Give it a break and take off the rose coloured glasses.
The WAFL was dead before the Dockers came into the competition.

A-man I was at the season opener between Subi & Peelmantle down at Centrelink stadium and Subi clearly outnumbered the Peelmantle mob, but of the Peelmantle supporters there 75% were in the purple and the rest were in the former Peel FC colours.

What - like 1980/1981 when every club in the league & their supporters had to pay for your lot to stay alive????

Don't be a dickhead all your miserable life pal

Dead right Southo these pathetic $alary cheat fuckheads hang their hats on 6 tainted flags that no-one else in the comp bar their own miserly fan base (which is quickly dying off as most are 70 plus, elderly and barely able to breath) actually respects.
We might be down atm, but at least we have a club full of local products that develop and promote their own, and not buying success year after year after year after year. How about developing your own talent?? Nah but that's too hard for your club and coaches. Hopefully we see a few broken legs, hammys off the bone and ACL`s for the $alary cheats in the coming weeks and see how you cheating cunts cover that!! Now please FUCK off to your own pathetic thread

Oh dear Swandog your memory is surely failing you, Swans were such good recruiters of other teams players and out of staters in the lead up to your '10 flag and the only reason you didn't continue with that policy is that your incompetant board pissed it all up against the clubroom walls. The only reason your pushing ahead with what players you have within your system is not due to some holier than thou moral stand, you simply have no other option with dealing with this self inflicted situation.

What really hurt Swans financially was all their off the books activity, when they started paying players speeding fines and buying Krak new sets of tyres all these expenses were off the books and they weren't able to write them off. I'm no accountant but a good mate of mine is, an auditor for the ATO in fact and he said this is what killed Swans. We only know about the stuff they were caught out on but where there's smoke there's fire and they must have been absolutely rorting the system to be in so deep with the ATO. This is why it's so laughable when their supporters throw accusations at Subiaco.

TOSG Paul Douglas has categorically denied the above. Provide PROOF or unreservedly apologise. Also, provide the person's name so the appropriate action can be taken.

A/man I attended every Swans' league game last season, including the one at Mt Barker, and there was one game where there was probably a 50-50 attendance for West Perth's home game against us and one game where the Swans' supporters were outnumbered and that was the game at Mt Barker in the heart of Claremont's country zone. Don't believe what Messrs TOSG and BC say about Swans' attendances as it is patently nonsensical and untrue. If you would like proof come down to the game at Basso in two Sunday's time and see how many Subiaco supporters there are at the game.

Hopefully a better performance this week. Losing Davis, Geappen and Broad has had a bigger impact than previously imagined. Start giving the younger players a chance and dont drop them after a week, give them 3-4 weeks to see how they perform.

Agreed mate, add to that Simmo and Blakely inj plus losing Amesy for a game and it makes it pretty hard. Take that quality out of any team and they will flounder. But like you say its a great opportunity for a few to grab hold of league footy when its not expected, like Yukich
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

Your mate has committed a number of offences under Commonwealth Law and ATO regulations relating to unauthorised disclosure of classified information. This matter will be referred to Australian Federal Police and the ATO Internal Investigation office for investigation. Good luck.
