I put a fair bit of effort into that match report. I didn't want it buried in the utter garbage that has been written on this site tonight like what happened last week.

Spot on again Mike, lets see if any of this gets high jacked by those two assclowns

Swandog not sure how much experience you have with on line blogs. Do you run the Lost WAFL? (which is a great site by the way) I learnt very early on when I started posting stuff that the worst thing you can do with a troll is to respond emotionally to them. The best way is to just ignore provocative comments and eventually they will get bored and go away.

3rd consecutive loss by around 50 points. Another disappointing day. There is now a feeling that there may be a lot of disappointing days in 2016. Peel did their best to keep us in the game for 3 quarters with their appalling kicking but even that couldn’t save the black ducks from another hiding. The defence worked overtime to pressure Peel so a number of their misses could be put down to the tackling of guys like Jetta, Elari, Faulkner and co. However 6 goals on a fine day is never going to be enough to win a game. For the second week in a row, Swans had nothing in the forward line and as a result players just bombed the ball forward which made it easy for the Peel backs to clear. Elari was often the target and he had no chance against much taller opponents. Cary was often battling against 2 or 3 opponents and he had no chance. The midfield were overwhelmed as the game went on and it would have been 100 points plus had Peel kicked more accurately from their set shots. I thought that Harding could have rolled the dice and put Ames or Notte in the forward line at 3 quarter time in the hope that they could bring down a few marks and put Swans in with a slim chance. That was snuffed out in the first 5 minutes of the last quarter and then it became damage limitation from then on. As you would expect the Peel AFL based players were a lot more skilled and their fitness was obvious in the last quarter. I was amazed though at the poor kicking at set shots by guys like Tabener, Hannath, Grey and Mzungu. They all missed easy shots that professional footballers really should have nailed. Not sure if any Freo players would have really demanded selection next week but given the Dockers performance tonight you just never know. Darcy Tucker looked a pretty good player and don’t be surprised to see him in a Dockers jumper before the end of the season.

Jetts was Swans best by a mile I thought, Ames was his usual reliable self. Cary tried hard but he is lacking confidence in his marking at the moment. Faulkner and Elari were good possession winners but many of their kicks and handballs were under pressure and therefore turned over. Blight and Riggio are not contributing much at the moment and as senior players need to lift their rating. Notte was OK but I think he need to go forward when Simmo gets back. Yukich tried very hard but was out of his depth against Griffin, he will learn from that.
Positives for Swans today were the great wins by the ressies and colts and Ryan Davis being part of the first Gold Coast team to ever win in Perth!
Also well done to the Perth Demons on their comeback win today. Great to see and hope you guys are in for an improved performance this season

Spoke with Simmo today and he says it wasn't a tear luckily just scar tissue and is a week or two away but has a feeling they may hold him back until after the bye. I think Riggs and co are lost without Davo too that's a given

The only idiot/jerk I can see on here is the 60yo + flog who doesn't even attend games at Basso commenting on a game from that venue today that his mob were not even involved in!

Ryan Davis is a star and extremely difficult to replace, but not irraplaceable. Tim Geappon our inspirational on field, leader has retiretired. .That shouldn't make Swans a 10 to 12 goal worse side.WTF this happend 1994 after 5 cosecutive finals appearances + 1990 flag, then 1995 and the freefall..

BC
2010 was a lot of reward for a lot of hard work.Fell short to Subi 08 and 09.Sfreo where too good in 09 anyway. In that period Swans where the most successful tier 2 side for AFL Recruitment in Australia. Melbourne football analysis called Swans the Afl Factory.2010 was well deserved.

Senior Seagull
Like the EPL with the promotion and relagation battles. It also happens with the South African and New Zealand Super Rugby sides. But the gap between Wafl and Waafl is like WAFL to AFL gap.The bottom WAFL side would be to strong in that comp.
