Mike there is some light at the end of the tunnel with the Colts & Reserves boys both having very good wins especially the Reserves boys who were essentially playing against the real "Peel" minus a "few".
Alby continues to find the footy and deserves a League recall, was great to see Greaser & JD back on the park and both showed the qualities of a League regular, Rudy just has to play League as he has a certain something we currently dont have a lot of, Kirkup down back starting to get back to the form we know he is capable of, Watson & Holman both showing a League debut is knocking on the door, Hodge was another before pulling up a bit sore, Slater is one who has genuine leg speed which is something that is noticeably lacking in the ones, Murray can really find the footy just needs to eliminate a few errors in his kicking, Warwick is the best kick in the club by a mile and needs to be the designated kicker in from behinds in the League, Hackett is a real goer tho slight in build just bores in and is pretty slick deserves a go, Maguire was thrown into the middle were he had a great Colts season in 14 before doing a knee last year and really started to find the footy and is a real tough nut, Timmy Yorkshire up from the Colts, Power, Colbung, Sutton, Stack & Ipsen all show a bit and finally Dylan Smith is one who is really starting to find the form and confidence we know he is capable of clunking his marks and kicking well and a League debut is very close.
On the current League side once again our mids were smashed although Griffin & Hannath were giving FART an armchair service inside but a few of our more experienced bigger bodies in there are so completely out of form and lacking in confidence it isnt funny, our forwards are struggling with the lack of inside 50 service tho they have to make use of the few times it does get down there by locking the ball in our half, whilst the backs as per usual have kept us from getting complete hidings in the first 3 games tho it might be time to swing a few forward & mid to give us other options as the current mix is unfortunately just totally out of form and confidence plus we have been let down badly by some currently not playing who continue to let our great club down.

Hopefully we can get this topic back on track without the inept output from the brain dead who this does not concern!

Thanks for that summary BH. I don't get a chance to see the ressies a lot and it is encouraging that there are so many young guys pushing for a debut. I am a little concerned about Matt Riggios form at the moment. What is your take on him? Is he just down on confidence or has he lost a bit of zip?

Yeah mate he is struggling at the moment but he is not the only one in the middle a few other boys in there who should be in their prime now are completely out of form and lacking confidence as evidenced by the easy dropped marks and miss kicks & handballs that have been unfortunately all to familiar in the 3 games we have played so far.
But there is some light as I highlighted in the earlier post despite the brain dead unwanted opinion from the unwashed who dont even follow our great club!

What makes you say that Freeze? I'm sure that there have been offers made I mean how much is it actually worth? Not much I would say so what are you saying that if they don't get the price they want they will just close shop? If so that is piss weak

TOSG the one positive if ozfooty shuts down there will be no forum for your puerile and inane comments. Given the performance or lack thereof more pointedly and accurately of your spectators when the few that were present for the 2015 Grand Final deserted prior to the presentation after the Grand Final. Of the few that stayed to say their response to each player being presented with their medal was tepid at best would be to grossly overstate the warmth of the crowd's reaction.

Whilst it is reasonable to say that there will be some more pain for us Swans' supporters in 2016 I would like to make the observation that the Reserves' score was:

SD 20.12 to Peel's 5.7.

I didn't bother counting how many AFL aligned players played for Peel yesterday, but a ball park figure of 11 seems reasonable. On that basis what can one say of Peel's Reserves' team performance given the injury problems we have had at Swans this season.

There are encouraging signs for those who have seen our reserves and colts teams play this season. We will continue to support our club during the tough times as we have done in the past. What will be interesting to see is how many Subiaco supports turn up Sunday fortnight at Basso. Given how well they are playing one would expect a crowd of at least 4,000 - 5,000 Subiaco supporters enjoying the hospitality at basso.

If only there were more obsessed Swans supporters your attendance figures wouldn't be so low. Last one to leave turn the lights off.
