This game could be tricky on Saturday. Will be the first time any of our guys has played at the ground and it is apparently a slightly different shape to other fields and the Claremont guys will know how to play it.

We were beaten 3 weeks ago at Bassendean because Seaby and Andrews got on top, giving their midfielders first use more often than not. Then there were some big blokes up forward for them who were marking and kicking goals.

Swans need to bring the same desperation and intensity that they had against West Perth that was missing against the Tigers last time and then we will have a good chance.

Swans need to win this game to stay ahead of Subiaco, because they are likely to give Perth a thumping.

Having had the 'pleasure' of going to watch the Colts there yesterday, the ova is in disgraceful condition and there should not be any WAFL games played at the Showgrounds. I expect that we will be ready for Claremont this time.

Hopefully, there won't be any rain until after the league has finished has their complete paucity of shelter and seats there.

By the way the Colts were not able to win last night. Claremont were by far the better team. It may have helped the boys if they had brought their miners' lamps with them yesterday.

The WAFC were out today inspecting the Show grounds, and to my understanding the WAFC have ordered the Clarement FC or Claremont shire council to relay parts of the ground before Saturday.

George if it is that bad, maybe the WAFC should be looking now at other potential grounds to move this game to. Fremantle Oval, Lathlain, Joondalup and Bassendean are all free this weekend. That would be a first, a Claremont home game at Bassendean!

I noticed that Travis Casserly has been named in the reserves this weekend,good to see him back

If the WAFC ruled the Show Grounds out this Saturday. It would be up to Claremont to pick the oval and I bet my bottom dollar it's not going to be Bassendean oval.

They would have to make the decision early tommorow if they are going to move the game to ensure that everybody knows about it. Fremantle would be the obvious alternative

Apparently the Claremont Oval redevelopment won't be finished till 2016, so the Tigers will be playing at the showgrounds again next year

Cheers mikeh....for nostalgic purposes promised myself I'd get to a game there this year with Sat being the obvious choice of game if they don't move it

May even be a few games in 2016 Mikeh. Old members was supposed to have been pulled down April 2014, still there as of yesterday.
