Go suck on your mothballs both SF & Freo's!

We are all one eyed the umps were shocking both ways and the ground is struggling, however the biggest disappointment was the language from some swans supporters that caused a couple of families with young kids one claremont supporter and the other swans supporter to from their vantage point due to the abuse laced with F@#$ and pricks etc directed at the umps.

No one minds the boos and some witty comments

Poor Form!!!!!! have a good look at yourselves

Gobione, fair play to the Claremont team, they showed a lot of spine to come back in the last quarter and snatch the win, when they could have easily thrown in the towel at 3 quarter time. I think they are developing a good group who will be back in finals contention next year and may still upset a few more apple carts before the season is up!

Agree about the swearing in front of the kids, poor form.

One witty swans supporter's half time tirade at the umps as they left the paddock was priceless though. No swearing during his execution, use of christian names only and the deathly stare as ump being questioned & supporter eyeballed each other....even that miserable Claremont ground manager in his escorting role managed a smile. Highlight of the day for me along with Aiden Anderson's pre game miracle check side goal during warm up only for him to be looking around and pleading "Rick, rick, rick did u see that "....I saw it Aiden, so did ur runner but they don't count before the siren mate ;)

Yes they probably should have set the horse on him.

At least they weren't exposing themselves this week.

BH, speaking of howlers, why did Harding leave Worobec on Bradshaw for so long? ;)

DW, love the "deathly stare" comment between the SD fan and ump, talk about wind up the ump even more to make Cl chances to win the game even better. Quite suprised Harding didnt come over to the SD fan after the game and berate him for costing SD the 4 points.......next time jump in earlier and berate him yourself DW, the umps already have SD on their black list, without some SD fan being a hero with the deathly stare making things worse

The worse thing about the show ground set up is the echo so you get to hear the tiger fellows bellowing twice hah

That was by far the most disappointing loss of the season because Swans were in a winning position at 3 quarter time and they coughed it up. It was strange seeing our defence being run ragged by Bradshaw and Abbott because the players down there are usually so solid. Even Tallen looked uncertain and made mistakes.

The form line since the State game has been rather patchy. Before the game V NEAFL, Swans had won 7 and lost one. Since that game the record is a more modest 4 wins and 3 losses. Not disastrous I know but in two of those wins Swans came back from playing poorly early in the game to snatch wins. So it could have been 2 - 5 and then our place in the four would have been under threat.

I was hoping the bye would freshen up the players but to me many of them are looking tired and jaded and the intensity of earlier in the season has gradually evaporated. Certainly the wheels have not fallen off yet, but on that performance yesterday I would be very doubtful that Swans would come within six goals of any of the other sides in the top four if they were playing them next week.

One of the major issues that is facing the team and was obvious against Claremont is the lack of big man strength. Nathan Blakely has battled away manfully this year but he is one of the guys who looks jaded and he needs support. Ricky Cary did some of the ruck work yesterday but I reckon he is better value forward.

Luckily we are playing Perth at home next week ,which looks like an opportunity to kick start the season again although as the Dockers found out yesterday you can never take anything for granted in footy.

Bad loss for sure Mike but we have got out of jail a few times this year so were due to lose a close one.
We struggle against Claremont as Seaby dominates and Murphy and Blackwell have a field day, big Blakely tries his guts out but was outgunned in experience.

ur mids dropped off and put too much pressure on our backs and they bombed it in with wind, Bradshaw had a bday no matter who we put on him and Abbott can really play.
Won't go on about the umps as it will seem like we are complainers but the consistency or lack of it was baffling, 12 free kicks inside 50 to 1 says it all.

Perth supporters would be interested in Claremonts new assistant - McMahon, maybe he was the difference !
