It was chopped up badly in the centre square around the centre circle on Wednesday Night for the Colts game so much so they were throwing the ball up closer to the Southern end to avoid the area. Also was badly chopped up in the corridor especially to the Southern end. Crowd at the Colts game would have been over 500 too as an estimate.

Doesn't get much worse than today at the showgrounds. Best part of 5 goals up at 3/4 time only to see the Tigers hit the front with 5 mins to go and for the heavens to open up at a ground where there is no bloody cover for spectators. The surfaces at the Guildford Grammar Flats are in better knick than that of the Showgrounds. All game you can see players from both sides afraid to run through the line of the ball because the bounce was so unpredictable. Congrats must be given to the Tigers players coz they looked dead & buried during the third qtr but took the game on in the last and pulled off a great win. Our boys seemed to switch off in the last and paid the price. Hopefully that's the last time I have to go and watch a WAFL match played inside the confines of a horse paddock!!!

Haha yeah fair call DW horse paddock is a pretty good description for the Showgrounds surface especially with the equestrian area on the outer wing ..although what we served up in the last qtr was horse shit and was only matched by the complete incompetence of that Worobec!

The display from those 3 maggots today mate borders on cheating! And who is to say they are immune from cheating? Its happening all over the world of sport so why would the maggots be any different I wonder? He never payed us 1 free alday from memory and they had at least a dozen frees inside 50 to our 1 from, now if that isn't umpiring influencing a game of footy one way then I don't know what is, plus 90% of his centre bounces favoured Claremont without it being called back, with the condition of the ground why wouldn't he just throw the farkin thing up? They only have 1 skill to execute and they F##k that up more often than not too! Swans should put in a formal complaint to the WAFL about the umpiring we get every fuckin week, all we ask for is consistency!!! Even v West Perth when we won easy they were a shambles..I know its fresh after a game and we are one eyed to buggery, but today was worse than abysmal even Claremont fans were laughing about it!!
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

Evenin BH, I'll assume Worobec to be one of the 3 blind mice that officiated today. Free kick count in our favour at games end doesn't reflect where the kicks were given, having said that the adequately described horse shit we served up in the last qtr was the reason we lost. The WAFC would have to be happy the Tiges aren't in finals contention because playing finals at their current home ground would be a disgraceful situation. It is what it is with the Tiges home ground situation I know, but surely we can do better than that. My Grandy would have prepared a better piece of slop in his sleep!!!!

Well done to the Claremont boys, a gusty win coming from behind. From Swans point of view, that loss was so disappointing because they had put themselves in a winning position at 3 quarter time, 27 points up with all the momentum. Even though they were kicking up into the wind, all they needed was a few early goals to kill the game as a contest. Instead Swans were pinned back by a team with far more desperation and desire in that last 30 minutes. I was at times wondering which team was actually fighting for a place in the finals.

Bradshaw was allowed to run amok all day and while Seaby, Blackwell and the other experienced Tigers were prominent when the game was up for grabs, most of our guys went missing.

I don't mind if we put it in for 4 quarters and get beaten by a better team on the day but too many of our players think it is OK to just contribute for a quarter and a half and then go missing in action.

I am sure that Claremont caught Swans off guard a few weeks back at Bassendean, there were no such excuses today. Hopefully the Tigers can knock off a few others in the top four before the end of the season, I think they will certainly be nuisance value.

As for Swans, this loss could cost them a top 2 spot and they somehow need to rediscover the exciting brand of footy they were playing early in the season. Apart from the 3rd quarter most of them looked tired or disinterested this afternoon.

Not only the ones that were given boys but the obvious ones not paid for example when their little pet Bradshaw in the last qtr when he jumped a mile too early whilst kicking Howard in the back and not getting within 5 metres of laying a glove on the ball and it is called play on  ..Murphy kicked a resulting goal 5 seconds later which turned out to be the difference in the finish and that was only 1 example, the no high tackle free paid to Boekhorst, the non mark to Ugle all by Worobec ..but as I said before his incompetence matched ours in that last!
