Good to see a full house at Marvel Stadium with the roof open.In the Melbourne Derby BBL08 GrandFinal.Renegades batted first and recovered from 5-55 off 9 overs to score 145.Good batting by Cooper and Christian again.Not sure they have enough runs but a few early wickets would help the Renegades.

Renegades were 30 runs under par which is making for a pretty boring final. Give me test cricket any day over this stuff, especially like the thrilling finish in South Africa last night.

Well I was wrong, what a fightback by the Renegades. Some really dumb shots by Stoinis, Handscomb,Maxwell, Dunk and Bravo. Stars have chucked this away.

Before Stoines was bowled the Stars where 0-89 off 12 overs.At that point they needed 56 runs off 48 balls with 10 wickets in hand.Then they just kept hitting the ball in the air.Straight up in the air..Loooks like a massive choke by the Stars.Finch bought his fielders in to intise the Stars batsman to try and go over the top.

As Freezin said a bit of arrogance and hubris by many of the Stars batsmen. All it needed was for one of the top 6 to keep their cool and hit the ball along the ground and they would have won that easily. Gee Eddies had a good 6 months hasnt he?

Theres plenty of cricket being played all over the planet.Finchy+ Dan Christian are off today too play in the UAE.A Finch is our white ball captain. Dan Christian just floats around the place playing tournaments everywhere.Really rate Dan Christian think he's a fantastic cricketer.
