My bad, BH.

Correct me again if I'm wrong, but didn't he start at the Stars?
If so, that's where I went adrift.

Yeah he certainly did play for the Stars early days OTO as did his Tasmanian team mate George Bailey (who is also a native Taswegian).
All of the others you named quite correctly are blow ins for the Hurricanes.

The February 9th match between Adelaide Strikers +Scorchers at Traegar Oval Alice Springs. Has been cancelled because the playing field is not up to scratch. And will be now played at AA.Both sides played there last season.

There are now 3 teams whose seasons are pretty much cooked, Adelaide, Brisbane and the Scorchers, yet they all have 3 games to go and the competition will drag on for nearly 3 meaningless weeks before the final is played.in either Sydney, Melbourne or Hobart. The Scorchers will be struggling to get 20000 to their last home game, The semi finals and final should be being played this week. If you want to play 14 games where each team plays other teams twice, you can compact the season and have double and triple headers at neutral grounds like they do in the WBBL, otherwise it just drags on for too long.
If it wasn't for the impending test match which will be the inaugural one in Canberra, I would have lost interest in cricket completely.

How long do we have to wait before we go back to some real cricket in the Sheffield Shield?
This Big Bash season has dragged on been for the most part boring one sided matches and lacks any sort of star power with really only state players, grade cricket players & a few B Grade Internationals playing in it!

I notice that the Scorchers have picked young Hinchcliffe in the squad for the wooden spoon game in Brisbane, probably looking to avoid the same mistake they made with Josh Phillipe. Liam Guthrie has also been in the squad the last game or two and he might get a run this time with Coulter-Nile out.
