and by the term "best player".....I just assume he is Perth's best player, considering the staggering number of posts you Perth boys have provided us all here on the EF thread about the kid....if he wasn't your best, why so many comments?....surely not worth the posting energy, considering he is only figjam and 5th in that Perth footy figjam F&B queue.

and now to top it all off, 30+ says Cody would be EF best player if cleared??....yet initially a lesser player in Eardley or Strnadica was required in any possible deal...because 20K wasn't good enough...and apparently to Buffalo Bobby Shields still not enough! ...you boys seem clearly very elementary indecisive, confused and farked in your thinking...on par with Damo's previous yellow footy strategy....

but hey...I guess 40 plus years of failure does that to ones mind set....look at us at EF.. 20 odd years of failure and we are now offering an opposition club, who missed out on finals footy, 20K for their 5th best player!.. farking madness, elementary farking madness IMHO...

The kid is just one player, he’s done at Perth so move on. He may have to sit out a WAFL season but he’ll eventually be a Shark. Why he chose EF is probably a combination of a few reasons.

I’m not sure why Perth are in here throwing stones about local players- most of your Top 10 over the past few are imports.

I am still scratching my head why the Perth boys are still coming on to the EF thread talking about Cody....but then again I would be upset and eager to vent if EF best player in Jayden Quill was wanting to go to Perth.....oh yeah he does doesn't he!

Perhaps his source is some old bloke who struggles to put his pants on each morning. Or perhaps someone who knows someone who heard someone say so at the pub (whilst they were halfway through their 6th schooner).

Of course PFC looks outside our zone. Our zone is terrible.

What makes you an expert on EFFC all of a sudden? 5 of our 2019 B&F top 10 are from our zones. Whoever brought Jupp, Boekhurst, Manning, Davies and Kommer (the imports in that top 10) to our club should be commended. Certainly helps replace the talent spirited away by AFL clubs.

It is what it is - i don't think it is good or bad or even matters. We have a good solid core group of players. The peripheral players are young and need experience and time. Mostly these are the players coming through from our zones and have not been picked over by AFL clubs. We have to look outside of our zones like any of the traditional WAFL clubs do. Bringing in the likes Boekhurst, Manning, Kommer not only brings in talented players but they also help with the development of the young players coming through from our zones. Also quite often players brought in have been overlooked by other clubs i.e Jupp, so it is giving a 2nd or 3rd chance to a player - which is a good thing because our zones are never going to be able to satisfy our needs and the supply AFL clubs like it does.

Have a look at Subi. No local players really- prob 2 of their top 10. How have they gone?

As much as Juppy was a South Perth boy,...Cody was an Attadale boy....not there fault their respective junior zone clubs over looked them....till now of course....good to see EF stepping in for one of their past junior club zoned boys......
