Ive managed to attend several training sessions prior to Xmas and then one after.

From my observation on the teams cohesiveness, ball handling skills, enthusiasm to attack the player and the ball, there is a massive difference and improvement on show - and more impressive as its this early..

One aspect that may be missed here in summations of teams and their possible 2020 outcomes is not just the effect of player inclusions, deletions and/or new blood BUT as importantly how a team takes on a Game Plan, works & trains effectively as a team who understands their own team mates movement and patterns, and how skill levels when lacking are improved

Yes the proof will be in the pudding - but for me - the look so far is GOOOOOD!!

Come on fella's, its about time you eased up on the old boy. The stats et al, confusing as they may be are far beyond him - poor bloke is flat out working out how to put his pants on every morning without you guys confusing him further.

Great post Fin....spot on I reckon...think Monaghan has seen a lot in that 2019 of which players he wants to develop and move forward....yeah 5 wins wasn't the outcome he wanted or any coach or fan wants....but EF stayed in the hunt till the final quarter in a lot more games in 2019 than the years prior under Wiley...most games were cooked before half time in 2017/18.

Obviously the fitness of EF quality senior core in Griffen, Eardley, Boekhorst, Kommer, Manning, Jupp, Jansen, Strnadica, Winton and Loersch is paramount for EF moving up the ladder in 2020....like majority of other clubs in the comp.

Come on DD...lighten up mate....I have no doubt majority of us all relatively in the same age bracket....reckon we have all been guilty at some point of putting our pants on back to front or the wrong way....part n parcel of getting older mate.....no different to walking into a room at home or the shops and thinking why did I come in here again?...my kids are forever taking the piss out of my missing wallet and cellphone dance.....it's just a piss take all part of banter....atleast he said your pants and not your diapers.....

I rarely miss a game and there has been plenty where it was cooked by Quarter time - even 20 minutes in. You do start to wonder why am I doing this. But I think last year was a big improvement and I am confident we will continue to see that this season. We have a lot of young players - they need time and patience, We are definitely heading in the right direction.

DD...you give as much as most here mate....there was no malice in Oools post....big deal you have trouble getting your pants on....as if anyone is going to take it seriously.... rather that type of banter then calling someone an idiot or a fool...quite surprised you have taken offence....STT calls me Freeballin...and I am pretty sure the underlying connotations to that nick name....all part of dishing it out...think you need to move on mate and think about what is going to happen when Cody gets his tsf to EF....complete and utter meltdown me thinks....
