We have moved on.
Our planning doesn't include Mr Leggett.
It seems your does, not to be in 2020.
The player obviously needs a player manager.

Very good of you to come on here just to say you and i am guessing by "we" you mean all other Perth supporters, have moved on. So as that is it then ta ta.

Not a lot of chance of this turkey moving on TM. This is the one that said he’d had enough of the EFFC site and said bye bye and that he wouldn’t be commenting again. Guess what? He was back about 5 posts later. FFS, this bloke went to buy a TV that was made in Australia. He saw one that said “built in antenna”, then complained saying he didn’t even know where that is!!!

Ok I’ll explain it to you. Zac Clarke might have a let’s call it “Leggett” clause in his VFA contract . If arbitration paves the way for Leggett to play for EF in 2020 then Subiaco is entitled to seek arbitration to allow Zac Clarke to play for them in 2020.

Or alternatively I’d encourage $ubiaco to open negotiations with Leggett. I’m sure they’d be be happy to pay overs and Cody is guaranteed to play not only finals but most likely a premiership.

DD...unless we know the exacts of every players contracts, what's gone off, what's been said or done, your hypothetical is just that..also you are talking about a tsf from one state comp to another, not within the same state comp...reckon it would be easier to move from one state comp to another......the ole work card etc....plus as I thought....the Subi boys ain't interested....there recruiting restrictions are far different from every other clubs....as are the quality of their players to the rest of the clubs....

But hey lets push hard for a well deserved 50 pages on the Cody saga....DF you are up next mate.....again!!!

Because of the unfair recruiting rules placed on Subi which hasn't been done anywhere else in world sport unless Leggett suddenly becomes a one point player then he means little or nothing to us.

Maybe not but it’s open slather on recruiting contracted player’s if arbitration grants him and EF their wishes.

So back up a few posts, who was the EF player about 10 years ago who ended up at Swans about mid season? EF didn’t want to let him go, probably a contracted and required player, who would have thought?

Mark Piani

Played colts for East Fremantle then recruited by Swan Districts. Played league for Swans from 1997 - 2007. Except for 2003 when he played for East Fremantle. League debut for Swans 1997?. Swan Districts Fairest & Best in 1998. After more than 100 league games with Swans recruited by East Fremantle. After 19 league games with the Sharks he decided to return to Swans. There was a protracted clearance wrangle over the off season as East Fremantle tried to recoup the clearance fee paid to Swans a year earlier. However he was cleared back to Swans for the beginning of the 2004 season. He played a total of 156 league games.

Thanks for that. I remember there being something strange about it. Obviously didn’t enjoy his year at EF then? Wouldn’t it be funny if history repeats itself?

What's the old saying? The grass isn't always greener? I guess a young man feels as though he needs to find out.
