I would agree to some extent with you on Wiley. The rot had set in and Wiley despite best intentions was not up to turning things around. Disagree with you on Monaghan last season was a big improvement. As a paid up member and someone who attends week in week out I was quite impressed and feel we made a huge leap forward. Wait until the end of this season and we all will be in a better position to judge. Your concern for the plight of the EFFC is appreciated. On the flip side I am a little worried for your mob. 4 wins from the last 13 games and a massive last round choke against battlers Peel when a finals berth was up for grabs is concerning - are we about to see a slide back down the ladder at Mineral Resources?

DD...mate happy to talk Monaghan after a few year of coaching EF...not just after one season....geez you would of sacked Earl way before 2019 mate going on your logic....Monaghan had the same number of wins in one season that Wiley achieved in 2 seasons with the same squad.....at least give Bill another couple of seasons before writing him off....Earl is into his 6 or 7th season at Perth....no finals footy....look in your own back yard for coaching mediocrity before peering over the fence into other back yards and judging....Wiley was 5/2 in 2016 before the rot set in...and he had no ability what so ever to arrest it....despite having up to 8-10 ex AFL listed guys on his books....great footballer....just a very ordinary head coach....at least have the footy nous to judge Monaghan after a couple of seasons at EF....his on field record at WP over ten years stacks up...more so than Earl's and Wiley's....last finals action Earl's coaching has seen was 2002....with EF....LOL.....would of been 2019 , but 22 guys choked in last couple minutes of the game to ruin it for him....poor fella.....but hey your benchmark for success is somewhat clouded compared to the rest of us.....

Perth have been shit for a long time and that’ll continue in 2020. They’re a joke of a club, laughing stock. EF are the sleeping giants- I’m very bullish on 2020 for the reasons TM mentioned. We have a proven coach who now has a better understanding of the group. Perth have a coach that doesn’t want to be there- just like most of their list

Probably the game against Subi at Leederville. 1978 GF like conditions blew a gail at one end no rain when Subiaco had first use. Waterfalls of rain cascading down the limestone walls in the 2nd qtr. We lost Corey Byrne early in the 1st qtr. Just one of those days but I bet you scored less than 10 goals a game a lot more than we did.
