Ran into a player over the weekend who said Teakle is coming back to Shark Park. Would expect an announcement shortly

Pretty sure Monaghan said the same at the AGM in December re Teakle returning if not drafted. Looks like Strnadica will back around Easter when a work tsf comes through too.

Teakle and Strnadica easily replace the loss of Dixon....both can play forward as well as ruck.....might mean McGuire plays forward more.....hopefully O'Reilly can stay on the park for longer periods.

If you get both those very good big men back your mob would easily be red hot favs for back to back flags.

The thing that concerns me a bit is the stupid fixtures where we play a full strength Peelmantle team first game every year and always lose that game. We will be 8 points out of the five after one game. Yes, loads of games to make it up, but if they just think they can rock up and win the other games then they may flop spectacularly. No easy games this year.

We played Peel in the GF and beat them and we have only lost 1 player but gained a couple more. We last won at Peel in 2021 we can win again and who cares about round 1 we will be fine. Our team is good enough and we will be back in the pack in no time. My biggest concern is the ground and how its going to work

Just curious where are your players training? I think your oval was still available during last season wasn't it? WACA obviously not available to train on during cricket season.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Training at Fremantles  ground and wherever they can get an available oval. Hopefully the oval wont be long until its ready. I bet the players cant wait to get back to the oval

I think your actual oval playing surface might hold you back. Will need time to knit in below the surface. Been a scorching hot summer which probably hasn’t helped. I drove past last week it doesn’t look great.

Hopefully the ground doesn't inherit that MRP curse for soft tissue and joint injuries DD. Perth and WCE have been hammered with injuries over the last few years.

Definitely didn’t train at Shark Park last year, DD. I think it was said that they trained at 10 or 12 different ovals over the season. I’d say the same will happen this year until the ground is ready. I went past a few weeks ago as well and it didn’t look great.
