TBH from that GF side KC, Dixon is the only out, with Strnadica, Hagan, J Marsh, O'Reilly, Boekhorst and Tassone as ins.....not sure how many ins you want mate.....also youngsters in Sanchez, Cocking and Austin look likely sorts....time will tell I guess.

www.effc.com.au/news/24668/mens-football...pdate-with-brad-dodd?

Interesting the loaning of players to West Coast- Luke Yeo and James Spadanuda on their way there next year.

From these comments from Doddy and Bill at the AGM last night- playing list is close to finalised.

www.effc.com.au/news/24672/ryan-lester-s...announces-retirement

Announcement on Ryan Lester-Smith retirement. EF through and through and one of the real hard luck stories with missing the GF- he certainly deserved to taste success

Lots of resignings on the EF FB page....last one being Boekhorst, which will be a handy one if the fella hits the ground running. Strnadica no longer on the playing list, still looking for that Metro tsf work wise with Clontarf apparently. Hopefully that happens sooner rather than later, but difficult to train and play WAFL if you are living and working in the country 5 days a week.

Some good sorts elevated from the colts to the seniors. High hopes for Cocking, Sanchez, Austin, Otto, Dunscombe and Campbell....though always a big leap from under age to senior footy.

Lot of folk on here tipping EF to be minor premiers, cant see that happening, but would be very disappointing if they dont finish top 4 at least. Though some clubs have recruited well and injuries/depth will always be the key in determining how far any team can go in a season.

Come off it Freez.  You lot won the GF last year by 39 points and look even stronger on paper this season.  Claremont may give you a fright but can't see anyone else getting even close.

I understand where you're coming from trying to play down your chances of success as Subi supporters did the same a few years ago in the face of constant bagging from opposition faithful, but I think Bill would get run out of town if the Sharks don't finish top 2.  :-)

Freeze the quality of your squad is too large to not be a serious player for the premiership this season and I’m sure the bookies would have you favourites. As BC said top 2 is highly likely. The only thing you guys need to do is” maintain the rage”.The dreaded  premiership hangover could still be a factor ( lord knows my mob are experts at it) and probably the only lingering doubt otherwise. You don’t lose ability- just the desire.I’ve tipped an EF v EP grand final with maybe the Royals getting the chocolates.

Feds, your comment, "maintain the rage" is right, the intensity that the Gummies played with in the GF against an AFL stacked Peelmantle was almost frightening. If they can maintain that sort of intensity, they will be hard to beat.

Looks like Teakle missed out on a Collingwood gig, disappointing for the big fella. Wouldn't surprise if a VFL club enticed him to stay......though was told that Monaghan said at the AGM, that if not rookied by Collingwood, he would suit up for EF in 2024.

Though I can see a few clubs throwing the kitchen sink at Teakle for his signature.....with Dixon gone, O'Reilly and his injury woes, Strnadica most likely not available till after Easter due to work....Teakle will be very handy in EF best 22.

Your right Freeze many clubs will be looking at Teakle, given the lack of experienced big men at Subi,I'd be very disappointed if they didn't make a big play for him, he's a quality player, but he may like going back home to a club thats right in the middle of their premiership window.
