I see ex EF colt James Spadanuda has signed with WCER as well. Opportunity to get some league footy perhaps, due to the long midfield queue at EF.

As for Ruscoe, whisper of a possible spot via the pre or midseason draft on WCE senior list, was too good to ignore...though I reckon money was a big factor as well.

With 9 nominations for the EF board, could there be a changing of the 'off field' guard at EF?  With- ex  EF170 game player Rob Young and ex champ Doug Green's daughter,  Danielle Green putting up their hands.

 

Where did you see that about young Spadanuda, Freezin?? Hate to see him go- showed some promise. Maybe a loan arrangement like Josh Browne.

The Board haven’t covered themselves in glory recently- interesting that there’s a number of nominations this year- they need some new ideas

KC saw it on the ins/outs WCE thread on Big Footy for the Beagles Reserves. Also Spadanuda is no longer on EFFC player list, so could be another loan arrangement as you say like Browne....though Browne never came back to EF....and has now gone to the VFL 

Look likely to lose Koen Sanchez to the draft over the next few days. Not sure on mature aged players like Murdock or big McGuire- haven’t been mentioned much.

Young Koen Sanchez missed out on an AFL gig....similar story line to Jed Hagan last year. Might get an offer to train on with a prospective AFL club over the summer, be interesting to see what Sanchez does ...definitely good enough for some league footy in 2024.

No life line for Teakle either, with Dixon going, Teakle would be more than a handy replacement. Been very quiet on the recruiting front by Dodd, perhaps with preseason training around the corner, some news might pop up on the recruiting front.

You’d think Sanchez would get a train on spot somewhere. Maybe West Coast or Freo. Teakle might as well but you’d think now the draft is out of the way, that some signings will be forthcoming. Having said that, not sure EF will be overly active

While always good to see players return to their original clubs, there will be a heap of interest in Teakle from all clubs. He is/was a dominant WAFL player. Guys with his size and skill are rare.

Yes SS. He'd be very handy at Subi as the key target forward and a chop out in the ruck for Clarke. Has anyone got his number?

It was bad enough Subi enticing Durnthaler back in the day....if Subi snare Teakle, I will sadly have to cut ties with you boys altogether.
