Yep he's used all his contacts. Just a sidenote did anyone see how cheap the Williamstown memberships were. A family membership is $150. I'm pretty sure that's cheaper than a single membership for most WAFL clubs.

STT, is not Williamstown Collingwood's VFL club????
They would have more money than probably even Subiaco and that is not to mention revenue from pokies which no WAFL has the benefit of.
Stop kidding yourself. PFC new administration are doing fine considering there is no huge war chest. Just give them a fair go.

I reckon they would have smaller revenue than PFC and most other WAFL clubs. I am saying that WAFL clubs don’t work as hard as Collins does inc PFC and its new management. Some okay signings but you just know if Collins got all those guys in the way he describes that our blokes don’t work as hard.

We are bigger than vfl, we should be bringing in vic and sa non wa based ex afl players every year.

I've just been flicking through the 2019 Annual Report on Subi's website and it makes for some interesting reading. Mark Lawrence rips into Gavin Taylor and the WAFC in his Presidents report. It also appears we made a loss again but much smaller than last years which is good news as we seem to be heading in the right direction. Not paying Schofield a full time salary would have had a big bearing you'd think. Also it reports we had 3,247 members this year which I'm not sure how that compares to other clubs but it seems like a decent number. All-in-all the club appears to be in pretty good shape and can't wait to get a look at the P&L and balance sheet to see how we're tracking financially.

Gee 3247 members. That is awesome. But where are they ?
We never see them at your games.They certainly don’t travel to your away games and I have rarely seen total attendances at your games approaching 2000 or more.

Good question Smokey...I thought it was a bit inflated too but that's what it said...maybe they were giving them away in schools etc.

Would be interesting to know what Subi's turnover was.
Might explain the reason for the loss.

Not sure DF...but apparently the accumulated loss over the last 3 years is around $400k with most of that being from last year. This year's must be quite small so at least we're heading to a sustainable position. I also note that according to the Annual Report we have around 35 game day support staff including trainers, time keepers, stats people, medicos, game day analysts and the like...mostly volunteers of course and not on the payroll. I'd be interested to know how that compares to other clubs.

You would have to have many more than us poor struggling clubs could afford.
