Played 3 games in reserves for us last year. Originally colts at Claremont in 2017 but was at Gosnells last year too.

I guess we'll find out if Josh Deluca is coming back. If I were a betting man I'd say he'll get picked up in the rookie draft as Carlton wouldn't have invited him to train with them for no reason.

BC, would Josh be able to go in the rookie draft? he was on Freos list for a few years and played a couple of games, is there still a pre-season draft ahead of the rookie draft? i hope he gets another go at AFL but would love him back in maroon and gold, was just about the comps best player before he went in the mid season draft.

Good question SS. I think they can stay on the rookie list for 3 years before they have to get either elevated to the senior list or delisted completely. Because he was shown the door by Freo I think the clock starts all over again and the Blues can pick him up as a rookie but could be wrong.

It was refreshing to see at least one Subi star not training too hard and taking his mind off footy training on the weekend. His Uber rating needs a big pre season though before he is delisted.

I see Buckenara making a case for Delahunty to get drafted. I admit he had a standout year but at 29 who'd take him? He'd finish up playing in the state comp wherever that may be if he did get picked up.

Surely it wouldn't have been as a ruckman - poor bloke can barely win a hit out, aside from that he had a cracking year.
Noticed somewhere that his cousin a forward and back up ruckman and he is around the same height - if he is as good a back up ruckman as his cousin then Perth may as well give him a go as 1st ruck.

It looks like none of the Subi guys like Sokol, Borchet, Braut, Deluca, Delahunty and co got picked up in the rookie draft this morning...bad for them, good for us....there's still the supplementary and midseason drafts to come but at this point we look like gaining Deluca back and not losing anyone.

Thats tough on Sok, I thought he was a very good chance, a lot of talk about him getting picked up, lets hope he can get himself up and about for another stellar season and keep his name in front of the recruiters. If we get Deluca back that will be huge, in the best 5 mids in the comp and having done half a season and the start of the pre-season with Carrrl'n he should be fit enough to survive Subi's pre-season training.
