Leedy wrote: JD, the Regional zones are just a spec in a large operation, most could not be fucked making the commitment to play Colts football with travel etc. If we are so bad at recruiting Country boys, your fucken comments are not going to improve things are they. In regards to Hinchcliffe, he will play a lot of WAFL (possibly AFL) footy, he is not quite ready for league footy with our midfield strength, who is he going to replace ???

Let's blame someone else shall we, this time the kids because they don't like to travel down to the city for WAFL footy. Kids in other WAFL zones don't seem to mind and some have a lot further to travel but ours just don't want to do it. A 3% "spec" in our team I agree but a sizeable 20% in most of the other WAFL league teams.

That is just typyical of the clubs attitude though. It is just all too hard. If it is too hard maybe they should hand over their country zone to Perth and Subiaco who do a great job interacting and supporting neighbouring country leagues. I bet you no club in their zones have a white board on the wall marking how many days since they last heard from a club rep.

What good are my comments going to do? Maybe it will get some West Perth supporters, not like you, others with an independant mind to actually go up to club officials and ask questions. They are quick to push their own barrow with good news but tend to hide when stuff like this is brought up. They won't change what they do if they think no one knows what a bad job they are doing. A bit of pressure might bring a change of attitude.

Possibles: Besty, Garcia,

So Blechynden, Latham and Moore missed out with Hoskins, Le Fanu and Heal included.

So who misses out for the big one?

Looks a settled side. Deluca the only one who had a quiet day.

Rucks won't change. Wheels and Dela doing a fine job. Depends on weather and matchups. Still think Latham and Moore are a good chance.

Really hard to see any changes from that list. It makes me realise it was a very even team performance. Another name is Declan Jackson - I think he didn't play last week due to a slight injury as he didn't play reserves. Moore had a great game in the reserves but can't see how he could fit back in. I wouldn't be surprised if Latham plays as I think Schoey rates him very highly. Hoskins has been the bolter hasn't he. It would be hard to drop him after that game. 12 tackles is impressive for the small young fella.

Pretty sure I saw Jackson run out on Sunday but then return to the rooms and be replaced by the emergency.

He ran off during the warm up holding his hammy, didn't look too bad but a hammy is usually a couple of weeks, not so much an issue with Wortho available but if we face the Ferals the extra tall would be handy and he has genuine pace for a big bloke, he was our best in the reserves qual final along with Blech.

I'd be keeping the same team. Although Latham played well in last years GF he makes far too many mistakes that are costly. His foot disposal is average and although he runs all day he lacks pace.
Moore and Jackson have been good but may be unlucky??? Let's hope they can do the job on Swans in ressies this week and have a crack at a making up for the loss against the Falcons last year???

I see Lourey kicked 6 yesterday, we need to decide who is going to take him out before the bounce.
