No big surprises there?

No mate but good to see Le Fanu & Heal named. Pretty much confirms Waters is done for the year league wise.

Why would Waters be done? He is named to play ressies!! He could still play league if he plays well enough in the 2's this weekend.

Going blind in my old age Buddy Boy

Very solid squad but will need to be at their best as Bogundean will have plenty of boys in who have also played some league games. They beat us in the wet up at Basso last game so expecting a really tight game tomorrow, looking forward to it, hope it fines up and the ground is dry and not too windy.

Lucky win by the Ressies yesterday. Outplayed until the last quarter. Bestry must come in to the ruck if it's going to be wet. Big bodied WP players may have it over Subiaco. This year it's 1 to Subiaco at Leederville and that was lucky. Kicking for leads and for goals must improve otherwise will be facing one of the AFL teams in the Prelim.

LTRFTP those 2 late goals in the 3rd got us back in the contest and we seemed to lift significantly in the last, looked a bit like Swans were getting tired, but we were finally able to hit some targets after kicking over the forwards heads all day. Swans had quite a tall team in and they had it over us in the pack marking for most of the game, their inaccuracy cost them in the end, they should have had it won by mid 3rd term.

Of the boys looking for a chance in the league next week, Blech was terrific and close to BOG, Jackson was a clear winner and Wortho also played very well. Charlie LeFanu had a reasonable game but played out of his skin in the last and a major reason why we got over the line. Bestry did well in the ruck against bigger opponents and beat them around the ground. Not sure any others would be considered.

If it is wet then a hard call as to whether you bring in an extra tall or small, if fine I'd be bringing in an extra mid as WP are a very fast team who spread very well. They have a top level ruckman in Keunan and not sure Bestry is ready to take him on in a final, but if dry, an extra tall will be valuable. If we stick with Clang and Dela in the ruck, we will need to bring in either Worto or Jackson as a tall defender, Wortho is a proven finals player so expect he is a definite. Hard job for the selectors but a good position to be in to have so many options, it will come down to match-ups in the end. Unlike last year we are the hunted team with massive expectation on us to sweep through the finals, but 2 of the other 3 remaining teams have beaten us this year so being finals its a new game altogether and we will need to be at our absolute best to beat WP who always step up in finals.

Rumour this weeks ressie's could be at Leederville, surely not!!

I reckon this will be a real struggle given our guys have had a week off which could translate into losing a bit of momentum, the jerkers hardly broke into a sweat against FART and they beat us last time out.. a loss next weekend wouldn't surprise me one little bit
