Love your work JD 62.That high priced recruit for indigenous programmes was a really smart move by the recruiting bloke at WP.Leedy, one recruit on average every 3 to 4years from over east, you are delusional. As for the umps, your mob got another smooth ride as SS has already mentioned. That gutless sniper Potente recruited from Swans is a beauty.May be he might like to have a chat with that other beauty Max Alexander about a little word called karma.

Lucky there were no curbs for him to trip over after Potentes punch and run.

One thing I hope we have learnt after 2003, 2011and particularly 1995 is we need to be able to cover the loss of a key position player. 2011 Wheeler was our only ruckman and was taken out early by Jones who was under instruction. 2003 Smith was out early upsetting the forward structure. 1995, well we all know what happened. I suggest we get Boland, Wood and Yarran NFL style helmets so that they can survive the inevitable WP before the bounce coward punches.

That will only happen if WP players read the '$UBI HOW TO Manual' for backdoor/coward/dark corner king hits...

I think its called 'Subis Recipe for SUCCESS'
The color of the title examples the usual $UBI fighting techniques...and character.

Enlighten us all Mr Ball Licka ... Seeing you are the main distributor and marketer of this fine example of $ubiaco training procedure, are you likely to be handing out any at West Perth Training from the pockets of your long (hello little girl) flasher coat or just keeping them secure for the newer players in the $ubi team to delight in??

I'm sure that this manual added to your Subi Members Seagull Lube & Tissue supplied with player profile pics sales will also add to your clubs piggy bank coffers ... the extra $ will help pay for this weeks Tribunal decision to free another $ubi $niper from missing a game .... strangely not unexpected from us all NON $ supporters

Nice piece of 'back door ass kissing' by your coach on this matter also!!

Haven't seen too many more genuine coaches comment on such matters 'prior' to the proceedings this year - but that's just expected of $ubi - Ho-Hum

Having Wheeler is such an advantage, we loose a ruckman, he can ruck all day. He can go back to fill a hole and is a proven goal kicker up forward. A sniper takes out one of our forwards, 2 or 3 others can step up. Still anything can happen on GF day and if we face Joondy and the front runners get a sniff they will be hard to stop.

Of course we recruit from interstate (all clubs do it), we may recruit one every 3/4 years on average, $ubi buy that every year, as soon as a few blokes retire they pick and choose who they want from other clubs and interstate. You were a member my arse, if you were, you wouldn't have jumped off and if the above was close to home, we don't want your kind at WP!

Typical standard defensive stance by the club sycophants. Someone is negative about the club, they must have a ulterior motive because it couldn't be the clubs problem.

If you knew anything about the West Perth country zone you would easily work out who I am by my initials. I have been pretty vocal about the lack of assistance received compared to other WAFL clubs for a few years. I have been standing up for country clubs for a long time and no, Keitel didn't keep out a son or grandson. I do like to think that my club would look at their own juniors first instead of elsewhere.

You gave me facts before but seem to ignore the facts I gave you so hear are some more. Someone pointed these out to me at the CWFL final two weeks ago.

So far this season only two players from the country zone have represented West Perth in the league team this year, just TWO players for a total of 15 games. 22 games so far this season, 22 players per game, 484 total games and we only had 15 games represented by our country zone. That is a disgrace whether you want to admit it or not.

You say West Perth provide a pathway for juniors into the league team? We have had 3 kids from our zone debut this year. With all the injuries we had we only gave debut games to THREE kids (no shock to know they were all metro kids). That is easily the lowest for all WAFL clubs.

You say Subiaco heavily recruit from interstate? We only had 9 games less from interstate recruits compared to Subiaco, NINE games less. What does that say about us?

Finally we had an overaged colt who dominated this year. Averaged almost 30 touches a game in the midfield and played well in the Teal Cup. Promoted him to the reserves and he didn't look out of place. Then inexplicitly we drop him back to the colts. Why wasn't he given a league game as reward and increase his draft prospects? What more did he have to do?

You don't want my kind at the club? The kind that will be vocal when the club is doing wrong? Fine be a yes man who not only looks the other way but completely ignores the signs smacking him in the face. That will end well and when it hits the fan you will be gullible enough to believe those in charge when they say it is someone elses fault. Personally I like to know I tried to stop it happening in the first place.

wow...fantastic response JD. You obviously know your stuff about WP and those stats can't be denied. If WP are pretty bad at promoting locals and country kids in particular then maybe Subi aren't all that special either. Probably with the exception of Claremont and EF I guess all other clubs are in a similar position.

JD, the Regional zones are just a spec in a large operation, most could not be fucked making the commitment to play Colts football with travel etc. If we are so bad at recruiting Country boys, your fucken comments are not going to improve things are they. In regards to Hinchcliffe, he will play a lot of WAFL (possibly AFL) footy, he is not quite ready for league footy with our midfield strength, who is he going to replace ???

Do not even start with comparing us to Subi regarding recruitment, now add the players purchased from other WAFL clubs where the argument first started ???
