I don't see what all the fuss is about personally...if it was against the rules then Subi would be penalised..they haven't been so I guess it's been ok'd by the WAFC. Subi have 60 players on their books when only 55 is required so will delist one or two in the near future...problem solved.

There are many loopholes that clubs will seek to take advantage of, Joondy with the Keitel thing and now Subi with this points juggling act.

Both situations have caused significant comment about the "spirit of the rules", the only body that can solve it is the WAFC, if they don't then any lingering view that they have any competence left will be gone.

SS,

The Kietel situation doesn't come close to your latest exploits, Tyler was in no way, shape or form going to play at the Ferals and the 19yo rule is all out there for everyone to tap into and was designed for this very reason.

Agree Leedy it's not at the same level but the principles the same. Why was there such a fuss in the papers about the Keitel situation and why did you have to go to the WAFC for an interpretation of the rules and why did all other clubs oppose what you wanted to do?

SS are you happy with what Subiaco is doing to keep under the points' cap?

SS my apologies. That's what happens when you are trying to watch the tennis, hockey and post on ozfooty contemporaneously.

Tom Smith has been sent to Jurien Bay for the rest for the year.
Schofield has had a cry and thrown the toys out of the cot and neither he or any players will speak to the West for the rest of the year.
not sure he knows that West reporters work for ch7 on the telecast but we cant expect him to be that smart.

he's smart enough to have his team 2 games plus a big chunk of percentage clear on top of the ladder. subi operated within the rules and have now complied with the 30 june deadline to be 130 points or less...get over it.

maybe not...but between Germo, Watters and Schowey they've delivered 7 GF's and 5 flags in the last 11 years...what does Harding and Dawson's record look like in comparison? 2 GF's for 1 flag? hmmmmm....

Harding is useless and Dawson had a very good team at his disposal in 2010 so he gets a pass mark as had he not won that would have been a failure, he won by a point.
coached better in 2008 when he took a team with 8 blokes 19 or under to the GF, pretty good effort.
just cos a coach has success doesnt make him a top coach.
