Well, it's Wednesday already. I wonder if the short break will make a difference with Swans having played on the Saturday?

On the other hand, some players should still be fairly fresh from Monday seeing as they didn't do much.

Have to win this one. The rest of the pack is closing in on us one feels.

It's on TV but more fun being there.

I don't think any back this week mate.

In fact, we may have lost one or two more I fear.

Nevertheless there is still plenty of talent in the side. We had a better side than what Claremont did and still didn't win.

I think we can win this week.

you're never going to win a game of footy kicking 2.10 in the last qtr when coming from behind...at risk of sounding ingracious i reckon we lost the claremont game rather than them winning it....i wasn't there as i had to travel to kalgoorlie monday afternoon so it's just my uninformed opinion and will stand corrected by someone who was.

Spot on mate.

We played to about 50% of our potential, kicked shockingly for goal and still should have won.

I've never seen so many good players down on form in a single game for a long time. Guys like Hampson, Stockley, Wheeler, Mahoney, Waters, Blechynden, Rumble, Yarran hardly figured in the game at all.

Also, ever since I gave Latham a wrap here he has played very poorly. Might have to rethink what I said.

In fact just for something to do, did an old Westside Ratings for the 22 players that took the field v Claremont. Could only find 9 out of 22 that scored an acceptable 6 0r more out of 10. They were Horsley, Bristow, Boland, Leishman, Phelan, Kayler-Thomson, Scafidi, Delahunty, C DeLuca - that's it 9 out of 22

Looks evenly matched. Using the same Media/Club votes method for Swans there isn't much between the best 16 for both teams.

* = injured/unavailable

SWAN DISTRICTS
1-Simpson
2-Davis
3-Faulkner
4-Rogers
5-Boekhorst
6-N Blakely
7-G Jetta
8-Ames* (Can't possibly imagine he can play with a punctured lung)
9-Elari
10-Notte
11-Jukes
12-Ugle
13-Geappen
14-Riggio
15-Cary
16-C Blakely*

+ Latch, Howard, Blight, Manton, Grescos, Riddoch, Burnham, Broad, Kirkup, J Daniels

SUBIACO
1-Bristow
2-Horsley
3-Delahunty
4-Phelan
5-Stockley
6-Hampson
7-Boland
8-Twomey*
9-C DeLuca
10-Hildebrandt
11-Yarran
12-Leishman
13-Waters
14-Elliott*
15-Joyce
16-J DeLuca*

+ Blechynden, Rumble, Le Fanu, Kayler-Thomson, Wheeler, Scafidi, Latham, Heal, Kerr, Stevenson, Wade, Moore

Should be a good game

I actually think we're a sneaky chance in this game. From what I've read our form last week should have got us over the line apart from bad kicking at goal...so don't think it will be a demolition by Swans by any means and wouldn't be surprised if we fall over the line.

not sure why Subi supporters are talking themselves down, remember you guys are the ones who have done all the recruiting against the predicted bottom team - would think you would be expecting to win every game you play.
