good gutsy win today boys especially since you guys were 2 fellas down playing the league leaders.....amazing two first games as well.....SD colts hammering your youngsters and then Subi's reserves handing out a similar hiding to SD reserves......

LH, quite surprised Walters and Clark played colts and not in the state game v SA.....more so after the debacle v Vic metro the weekend before.....I know Clark is under age.....how about Walters?

Yeah Walters is a very good player. I'd have him in the WA side for sure.

Well done Subi, wanted it far more than Swans did today. Saw a lot of Bristow, Horsley, Boland and Kayler-Thomson particularly. I was particularly impressed with number 28 ( Yarran), has he played many games? He was lively all day in the forward line and Swans were struggling to match up on him. From what I saw today, the Lions will be well and truly in the mix at the business end of the season.

Wonder what the ground attendance will be posted as? Looking at the television broadcast, the ground seemed packed with people on the outer. I'm assuming the grandstand was full too? Was a good game to watch.

Lots of rug rats there today because it was the junior parade,made for a good atmosphere. The West estimated the crowd at 3000.
