naagh that won't happen 58....if a club can be 8/2 after losing the likes of Lobb, Cameron, Twomey, Hilda and that other chap who went to Hawthorn, they will be fine...irrespective of what injuries occurr and especially what the umps throw at them.....if they do in fact have any hassles from the umps...reckon SD are one of the luckier clubs, like EF, when it comes to the umps most weeks.

LH the wheels seem to have fallen off a bit in the colts ?
I know that Swans are travelling well but that's a thrashing for our boys.

Can you tell me who's out injured and when they may be back ? I know Grace is out for the season - Who else ? We've got to turn it around fast or we may not make the finals ?

I watched the 1st quarter against the Tiggers the week before and we didn't look too bad - where are we going wrong do you think ??? It may be a case of the top three teams are in with a chance and the rest of us are making up the numbers already - although perth caused an upset against the Swannies the other week so we may stuggle against them this week ???

Chopper not taking anything away from Perth in their win against us in the colts, and we have been in their position many, many times in the past, we were missing I believe 13 players from our colts' team.

It's more a case of some of the players just aren't playing as well as they were earlier in the season.

I don't like to blame injuries, 18's or players going up to ressies. I'm sure other clubs are in the same position.

To be honest although It's never fun losing I am enjoying watching some different players get a chance. Some are struggling, some are going okay. A couple might actually be in the best 23 afterall. Time will tell. Hopefully 2 or 3 others that will get tried can play well enough to join that main core of 15 or 16 this year that have the potential to play league football in the future

Ok so the team isn't too different from earlier in the season and it's more a case of poor form ? Who are some of the new guy's who have come in who show some promise for the future ?

Well, the main one who has stood out has been 15 year old Jack Beverley. As you know not too many 15 year olds play colts these days and he's been in the best 3 out of 3 games which dare I say it is Clark like if you remember back to 2013. So we have a good one for the future there.

A lad named Tom Breeze from the Goldfields came down for a game and really shows something. He's been doing really well at league level for Boulder this year and is eligible for colts in 2015.

Brad Waters, the younger brother of Rhys, has been really solid over the last couple of weeks. A completely different style of player but has a crack.

One of the unusual situations this year is that we have 10 really good 2013 development squad players who have PSA commitments this year. It's rare for us to have many PSA players let alone 10 really good ones from one development squad. The private schools are very strict about releasing their players for colts so we will rarely if ever see them this season but keep an eye out for Ethan Burnett (Hale/WA 16's), Ashton Williamson (Hale), Jayden Gerrand (Trinity/Aust Boomerangs rep.), Jye Harris (Hale), Gerard O'Sullivan (Aquinas), Martin Kaker (Hale), Fraser Twomey (Aquinas), Michael Braut (Trinity), Bryce Turvey (Wesley) and Ben Reid (Scotch) at some stage in the next 18 months - hopefully sooner.
