Some mixed news in the lead up to next year with retirement of Heal and injury of Stef. But stoked to have the signings of Clark & Foley. Can’t see any reason why Zac Clarke can’t dominate again.
And the return from injury of Kyron Hayden is a positive, but I have no idea about the guys potential. Hope he bounces back strong from AFL delisting & long term injury.
I’ve also enjoyed watching the development of Taj Schofield since his days as the Lions mascot! 😅
Next year could be a break out season for the balanced young fella

I reckon we still need a forward KPP if we lose Kentfield to be a real treat to the likes of EF.

If Special K stays, Subi are a good chance to be premiers in 24. Dixon has left EF, don't forget . Taj to win Sandover. 

Galen Savigni to continue his upward trajectory.  Hopefully Mullane gets a good run at things. We'll sort out our forward line woes. 

JL, Dixon kicked 17 goals from 19 games for EF this year.....not sure how much of a threat he was up forward.....big ask for a 18/19 yr old KF to take a WAFL side to the promise land....but good luck to the kid if he can

Every team needs someone tall to stand their ground in the 50, so that defenders don't have an easy time. East freo will struggle without Dixon. Subi need someone to contest up forward, as well.  Sokal wasnt to up the job last year. He's not your main man. 

Im sure we’ll get by with Teakle, Strnadica, Marsh, O’Reilly, McGuire and Leggett.

What about Borchet and Mayo?

Mayo was played mostly on the wing after coming back from his 2nd acl, I think mainly to keep him out of the big contests, he did ok but we have a plenty of guys who can play wing, I think after a full pre-season he should be ready to go back to CHF. Borch came back from injury pretty strongly, getting better and more confident with each outing, so should be the one to hold down FF.
Sok played the late part of the season on pain jabs before and at halftime for a dodgy ankle hence his poor form at times. He will be fully fit but should be given free range to roam the forward line as he wishes, where he will get the 2nd or 3rd best backman, he plays well off the deck and takes a strong mark so not an easy match up. If those 3 are on, we will be a handful but any forward line is only as good as the delivery they get which was a particular problem for much of last year, get that sorted and a more organised forward structure and we should be ok.

I'd be very surprised if Special K is not drafted, but if not, it adds another tall ruck/forward to the equation.

Haven’t seen much about Kentfield in the draft talks but that doesn’t mean much. He is a sort of in between size for the afl but is a very impressive player for his age, hopefully we get to see him again this season , but there are so many drafts to come before that is certain. agree if we don’t have him we do need another tall powerful forward and maybe Mayo is now ready to be that player.
