Believe that Teakle has missed a spot on Collingwood's list , he is the one we should be going after now! 

 Subi have already recruited their annual Gero boy already mate....Campbell Tirant.....don't be greedy.

Is Tirant an experienced ruckman? If not we should throw the kitchen sink at Teakle but I'd expect he'd head back to Moss St.

Just reading the latest newsletter which confirms that Max Walters has retired from WAFL probably line up in the PFL, he and Heal are huge losses to the team, over 260 games and 7 flags between them, wish them both all the best going forward. Club confirmed they are still chasing an experienced ruckman to replace Clarke, but no news yet, seems we will start the season with the the youngsters like Wagons unless we can snag someone like a Teakle. Looking forward to the first pre-season game v the Ferals who are right in the flag mix this year.

SS I think the tone suggests that we will be relying on our youngsters to ruck this season. Clarke retired before Christmas. Looks like teakle is headed home to old easts, as would be expected. Young afl acadamy Champion sounds like he can make an impact as a small forward which is good news

He and the lad from Gold Coast should add some pace and x-factor. We will again be solid down back and we have a quality group of mids with Clark and Hayden back but wont be the quickest group of mids and with very raw rucks. The forwards can be very good if we can get a better system going where we dont just bomb it in. Still have bad memories of how we played v the Dockers in the prelim, their tall backs had a birthday.

The other thing to look forward to is the fact that Kentfield will have another preseason under his belt with the seniors. For his sake, I hope he gets a chance at the next level but for our sakes, I hope he doesn't.

That was an embarrassing day, ss. We would have been better kicking for space or the boundary than to our forwards  

BC, it will be interesting to see how Wardman uses Kentfield, probably based at FF with Borchet at CHF and Sok as a roaming forward. Hopefully Sok is fully over his ankle issues that really reduced his effectiveness late in the season and finals. Both Kentfield and Borch can pinch hit in the ruck so may rotate through FF, CHF and ruck. We have a good group of small forwards to go with the 3 bigger blokes, just need to get a forward system that suits the players we have.
