Zac Clarke has announced his retirement, will be a huge loss. Interested to see who can step up this season.

Confirmed what we all thought was inevitable. Great career at Subi by the big fella, missed a season due to the ludicrously biased decision by the WAFC to ban his transfer back to Subi after a stint in Vicco, but a great servant of the club.

Who will ruck for us this season? Kentfield if he doesn't get picked up but he's more a key forward occasional ruck, Mayo is in the same boat and with dodgy knees should not have to take on the ruck, only others I can see on the list are Bryce McDonald at 202 and 90 kegs and Wagenknecht at 201 and 95 kegs, both are still learning the game so I hope the club is still searching for an experienced big man to help these young blokes. I hope Zac will still be around the club and doing some ruck coaching.

Looks like it's those 2 guys SS. Unless Putty comes back. Wagon train might step up. Cant can't place  the other guy, MacDonald, atm. Memory needs jogging. There's another guy around the place from Balga or nearby. Raw boned type. Played some reserves last year. 

JL, I've also only seen Wagons play, I think he has the tools and physique but is still very raw and a bit tentative for someone his size. If he does get a good run at league we may well see his confidence grow and more aggression come into his game, but there are some big blokes rucking in the other teams, guys like Jones at the Ferals who would be licking there lips at rucking against Subi this year. We do have the mids group that can adapt to roving to the opposition as they did when Dela was pinch hitting as a mid fielder in the ruck.

The Peel ruckman in particular was a problem last year. I think he's left for Victoria. The Claremont boy also got on top of Clark at one stage. Yeah, it's going to be a problem and we're not going to get an advantage from a learner ruckman around the ground.  Maybe  we should play Greg Clark in the ruck. At least you get an extra midfielder. Richmond used this tactic. 

Finally some movement on our website list- the here mentioned departure’s have been removed, apart from big Matthews. Maybe he’s staying now that Clarke has made his decision? A couple of inclusions from other wafl/pfl clubs, no sign of an experienced ruck though

Noticed Max Walter’s has disappeared from that list / was some talk of concussion issues, Jaxon McGowan also gone and Matthews still on that list. thought I saw that Patterson, Vanirsen, Matthew’s and McGowan were all going to Kingsway? 

Yes, Maxy never seemed to recover fully from that collision he had with Rowan Powell down at Freo Oval a couple of years ago. He used to do some mercurial things up to that point but wasn't the same afterwards which is a shame as he was a game changer on his day.

Agree BC , Max has to look after his long term health and his young family, thanks for your efforts over the years if this is the end Maxy.
Cruz Woodley also disappeared from list , there was some talk of him going to Swans but couldn’t see him on their list yet? 

A few more pfl inclusions on the web list today, including a big bloke in a ferals jumper, Hamish Duff 197cm 110kg 20yo. Big unit but can he play?? With Maxy also now gone we have lost a lot from last year, with really only Clark and Foley proven ins, plus Hayden back from injury. No idea how Corbett will go. Mmm
