I thought I'd start this as the ressies have just knocked off Claremont to advance to the GF as well.  That's a great effort to beat the two teams who finished first and second at end of the regular season in successive weeks.  Just wait and see now who we play in the seniors and it's game on.

South Fremantle will have some good Ins coming into the team next week for the big game. Captain Main being one of them.

In the wet, Subi should be all over this....

A pretty physical encounter and you'd think Souths would have a few sore boys with a 6 day turnaround. The Schlong gone for the year, Wilson might get up but Main doesn't hold too many concerns for Subi after playing one game in a couple of months. Subi should start favourites but in a two horse race, who knows?

Gutsy last quarter by the reserves. Loved the spoiling. Big turn around since the walk out mid season. 

Brock Higgins running into form. Souths young half backline gaining confidence. Completely outplayed the tigers  forwards.

Breman had a good last qtr. Hasn't got a bad left foot roost

Bloody great day at the footy today, Subi’s reserves pulled off a thriller against all odds. Only 4 goals to 3/4 time & kicking against a breeze which seemed to be more across the ground in the last. To kick another 4 to steal the game was a lot of fun and a bit of noise & great vibe in the group

Don't  be smart.  Should start favourites.  You will be red hot favourites.  Unbackable odds !

I would say to you that south’s being in a gf is as boring as Subi winning them.

South’s Subi and Claremont have made the Comp just a massive yawn.

You wouldn't be saying that if you're team was there year in year out.  Other teams just need to get better!

At this stage the forecast is not looking good, 90% chance of rain and 20-30k westerly's. The wind is not a big issue at Optus and the surface would cope well with some rain but it will be slippery and take away from the spectacle. Also will impact the crowd. Even though 20k seats had already been sold before the prelim, if its wet many will stay away and watch the game from home even if they had bought a ticket. If it's wet I hope the ground managers will allow those punters in open seats to move to covered areas in the upper tiers.
