Probably because according to the "experts" at the Pentagon and CIA, the Afghan Army that we and the Americans spent Billions of training and equipping was supposed to hold out for at least another year. Why do we get involved with these clowns.  

This thread is hilarious, the deal Trump brokered was a peace deal between the Afghans & the Taliban, if talks failed - which they did, The US could pull out or renegotiate. Biden chose neither....

They could sense victory and knew it was just a matter of waiting out the Americans. Before that deal, the Taliban had not won any significant battles against the Afghan Army. After the agreement? We were losing dozens of soldiers a day.

Turn off CNN and read the actual agreement, its on the state department website, maybe focus on point 4 on the first page which hinges on a permanent & comprehensive ceasefire agreement between the Afghans & Taliban. 
Tell me again what Biden did in the early parts of 2021 after taking the presidency and the Taliban increasing attacks to the highest levels ever seen? 

The only part of the agreement Biden has stayed true to is the exit date of 31st of August, How you can not distinguish between a cease fire & absolute bloodshed as an international affairs expert is astounding.

Correct , the Afghan Government were totally excluded from the "deal" .

The only obligation in the deal was that The Taliban should not attack and kill US troops before the May 2021 US pull out. The Taliban were free to attack and kill as many Afgans as they liked under the deal. 

The minute the "deal"  was signed trump started pulling US forces out en masse, undermining any hope the locals had, he was clearly in a rush to go because in the 11 Months he was still  in power troop numbers collapsed from 13,000 to 2500 the day Biden took over,  just imagine what he was planning - by May every US solider would of been gone, the Taliban would off rolled into power and EVERY Afghan that ever asssisted the US would of been stranded there, remember this is the US President that banned Muslim travellers to the US, the MAGA movement didnt want Muslim refugees - Build the Wall.

As of Today the US have evacuated 83,000 plus people, its shaping up to be the biggest human airlift in history,  remember Biden managed to extend Trumps pull out from May to August.

Go read the agreement, its between the Taliban & the US... you will not see it on CNN. Trump probably new they would never comply which would allow further action, endorsed by the international community. 

Problem is Biden didn't have the spine to enforce it.
