Vaccines will make no difference, as boris stated in one of his press conferences 60% of double vaccinated uk people are still ending up in hospital! Apparently he made a mistake it is actually 40%, so we will say somewhere between 40-60%. As BC said get used to it this isn't going away while the health system is rooted

60% of people admitted are UN Vaccinated.LONDON, July 19 (Reuters) - Britain's Chief Scientific Adviser Patrick Vallance said that 60% of people being admitted to hospital with COVID-19 are unvaccinated, correcting an earlier statement he made on Monday.Vallance earlier said at a news conference with Prime Minister Boris Johnson that 60% of people being admitted to hospital with COVID-19 have had two doses of vaccine."Correcting a statistic I gave at the press conference," Vallance said on Twitter. "About 60% of hospitalisations from COVID are not from double vaccinated people, rather 60% of hospitalisations from COVID are currently from unvaccinated people."

It's not an article Swan its a video of the actual press conference with a breakdown on what he actually said. I'm not sure how to load it on here. His back tracking attempt just doesn't make sense if you can watch the vid

Not very well but what's your point? It's far easier to close down WA than NSW given we have 2 main roads in and out of the state which are easy to police and NSW has hundreds....plus the fact NSW has 3.5 times our population.

WA and Tassie have the easiest job.

There are reports that traces of COVID-19 has been found in sewage around the Byron Bay area.  Apparently, there are no known cases in that area.

Contrary to what Paul Murray, Alan Jones, Rita Panahi, Andrew Bolt et al from Sky News Australia and the Daily Telegraph, Gerald Sun etc. are pushing there should have been a statewide lockdown in NSW several weeks ago.

It appears that NSW will be requesting for vaccines to be directed away from states like WA and directed to Sydney and NSW.
