Pav would have greater impact on the contest if he kept his feet. The last couple of years he constantly goes to ground if he can't mark and it was really noticeable on the weekend. The slightest bit of physical pressure and down he goes faster than Monica Lewinsky...check it out next game and tell me if I'm wrong.

He was doing it last year BC, I was at a game by chance and he went down right in front of my seat, it was without doubt the most embarrasing attempt to suck a free kick I have seen probably ever by a league footballer.

Anyway, watched Geelong and Hawks today plus watched Swans over the weekend , the dockers look so far out of touch with them and maybe Eagles and Dogs that it is not funny, maybe Lyon is doing last year in reverse, starting like a flute ensemble and finish like a german band, but with a geriatric list he has , if your looking slow and tired round 1 ,chances of having old blokes like Pav, Barlow ,Johnno, Sandi, et al absolutely fighting fit, injury free, and running the house down come August are next to nil. Then you have the spud factors like Mayne etc.

Bassa didn't you say you were at Basso last Saturday? If you were there you would have seen some "wonderful" ducking and flinging heads back as if shot from Schloithe, Hams * 2 et al. An absolute blight on the game.

For the record as disappointing as the start of the season has been for Swans one important point should be made that we, Swans, still have a club unlike the shell of a club known as East Perth. We can go to our remaining 18 home and away games knowing that we have a club to support.

It is also a cautionary tale for ALL Perth supporters that if they want their club to continue they need to REJECT ENTIRELY any attempts by the devil incarnate, Eagles, to align with Perth.

One strange decision that was made for me was the selection of Silvagni instead of Collins.
Silvagni doesn't get up to play... again. But who do they replace him with !!!!! Clancee Pearce.A big replaced by a small!!!! WRONG move.
We recruited Collins as a ready replacement for McPharlin. He has a big stong body, has played senior football against many more senior players, yet he was left lamenting with Peel.Strange decision.
I haven't seen the game as family commitments haven't allowed me to see the game live or in replay yet.So can't really comment on the way we played or didn't play.
But remember that the Bulldogs stitched us up big time last year at ES.
As I said before... only the first game, write us off at your peril.

About time I agreed with A/M, Collins has had two good games & is the answer to the backline. Griffin is useless & over 30yo. Whack in Hannath as the 2nd ruck & put Taberner a fwd .
