Mayne, Ballantyne, Dawson, Barlow, Muzungu and perhaps even Johnson and the Pav to retire soon.

Fyfe is finished - something not right about his back.

Taberner has only a few chances left.

Lee Spurr got to lear how to kick.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Barlow was a spent force last year ( just too slow) pav should have retired too

Absolutely amazing how people are lining up to write off a team after a poor 1st half of the first game :silly:

Not really, writing was on the wall last year, ageing list, and no genuine big forward, along with a stale game plan

You may be right, however I also think they may have decided that they peaked too early last year and with an aging list they need to gradually build into the season so that they don't run out of steam like they did in 2015. Time will tell I guess. I must say I was amazed to see Alex Pearce playing for Peel yesterday . I think he would have been needed now that Mcpharlin has gone.

Reasonable assumption Mikeh. Just dont see barlow mayne muzungi dawson pearce (both)pav to name just 7 who i dont think will improve, and thats what you have to do each year in this comp.

Way to old a side to go any further, nothing at all has changed in the off season with a woefull foward line set up and lack of scoring, I said last year that forcing pav to go another year was a big mistake, should of bowed out last year with dignity, this year could be embarrasing for him, not only that but the development of a young dynamic forward is now 2 years behind, look at Bulldogs they have built a forward line around a young dynamic Stigner, the shox have built theirs around a geriatric. They finished the game with no heart at all.

Probably beat GC next week but have not doubt WCE will take them apart.
