I believe the WAFC will wait until the week before the preliminary final before any announcement will be made because the problem may go away, it depends if West Perth win the finals. I do know that some clubs are not happy with South's with their change of support to West Perth and one South's legend has had words with his president and CEO. I also know that were a couple of empty seats at the presidents lunch on Saturday, a form of protest.

Brett Raponi said he was not attending the SFFC presidents lunch as a form of protest. He said it was ok to reveal this. It is a fair call by our president and I for one wouldnt sit down with a person who was supporting the WAFC. :(

NOW THIS IS HOT.... Thanks to MIKEH for bringing it to my attention as I didnt see it in the Business section. It seems amongst other things we have a strange bedfellow that blew me away.. Tom Percy...

from other thread
WOW MIKEH that article is dynamite... I tried to get it from the Perth Now site... NOT FOUND. It is there but wont come up... After much searching I found it
Guess where? On the Advertiser website in Adelaide???? In there Sunday paper?
The WAFC is certainly making idiots of themselves.. I actually found an article in the SMH last week. They also consider this a a load of shit by our GOVERNING BODY

I also dug the article/paper out of my bin just in case someone is playing games if you catch my drift. I will put the link on the WPFC Topic and WAFL... It is a real eye opener. Great Graphic flow chart Joe did as well but not in article I dont think.
Might try and scan it but it takes up a page and a half and gives pics of the people concerned and how they are linked

READ THIS LINK AS I SAID I HAD TO GET IT FROM THE Adelaide Advertiser
WHAT A CAN OF WORMS WE HAVE HERE..I have the hard copy which includes a GRAPH which links a lot of parties including TICKETMASTER..And their links with the Perth Stadium etc etc

Cardy, most of this stuff is old hat and was on 6PR over the last few weeks. We all know who the players are. As I said to you last week, the brawl is all about eastern states exposure and who wants to hold the ticketing license at the new stadium. McGuire Media is the production company that pays Channel Seven a million dollars to produce the telecast and we all know who McGuire Media is.

Forgot to mention that this issue was on Channel 10 on their morning show. The panel all agreed that Channel Seven was petty. Also Channel Nine news tonight will have a report on Luke Adams.

Gee thanks steve glad to hear you know it all... That is reflected in your numerous posts on the matter... 6PR I dont listen to that station. Do they put it all into print or have podcasts? No
The article I reproduced was in Sundays paper.. and does have more information.
Dont really give a fark about McGuire media as they are a small cog in the wheel
I suggest a lot of people dont know the full details. ;)
Look forward to your informative posts. Over to you buddy. :)

How can you say McGuire media are a small cog in the wheel. They pay Channel Seven the sponsorship doe in three states televising local football and they produce the telecasts for Channel Seven in three states. This was the focal point of Paul Murrays speech to the members at the Presidents lunch two weeks ago. Carl Langdon on Six PR announced the names of people involved in the Ticketing bidding so its not red hot, its old hat, we spoke about that a week ago.

That slimy little ex-WCE toerag Stuart Kemp has been gotten to & he is an AFL creep so expect nothing less , true colours have been revealed - his "work" isn't supported by many at our club & and I can't wait for all traces of him to be removed

Becoming happier & happier that I cast aside that repulsive & maggot-ridden VFL/AFL years ago

Counting the days until we are rid of that AFL name stealing imposter that trains at our home

Also counting the days until our next general elections - time for change over this debacle
