Ok Larry EP did make a profit in 2013 but lets not forget they played a GF in that year and The cheque book was open

The alignment commenced in 2014
The club was pleased to announce a profit of $356,083 for the 2014 season. This follows a profit $98,229 in 2013.
Total turnover for the 2014 season was $2,033,328.
These results come on the back of tight budgetary measures implemented by the Board.
This outstanding financial result coincides with the club's Minor Premiership, Grand Final and Foxtel Cup Semi Final appearance.
But note
East Perth, through the board and without member consultation, agree to become "partner" club to the West Coast Eagles for 5 years. In brief this means that all unrequired players at the West Coast Eagles will play for East Perth. The decision was initially met with a lot of disdain by a lot of members, however after an information evening the majority in attendance accepted that the financial stability offered by the deal made it worthwhile.
Without it East Perth would be in danger of being forced to merge or closing up. While some transition will occur in 2013 (East Perth give up their Dockers players and get all new interstate Eagles recruits), the partnership won't come into full effect until 2014.
The 7 G7 clubs would receive 525,000 from the WAFC. Remembering these clubs would have large costs to run their clubs up to 1.5 million plus whereas the Aligned clubs would have the full support of the 2 AFL clubs.
I will add the WPFC Results for 2014... Thanks in part to the CHANNEL 9 SPONSERSHIP
West Perth..
THE West Perth Football Club has announced a profit in excess of $2000 for the 2014 WAFL season signifying a turnaround of almost $300,000 on 2013 in what is an outstanding result capitalising on the hard work of those at the Falcons and of the significant support provided.
WAFC From Brett Raponi's 2014 address to members
DATED DEC 23 2014
The Address by the WPFC President also alludes to the CHN 7 Media contract
West Perth president Brett Raponi has used his year-ending address to club members to call on the West Australian Football Commission to work harder to secure football's financial future.
much of the WAFC's income is earned through its management of Patersons Stadium. It leases the ground to the AFL for both West Coast and Fremantle home games, while also collecting big fees for rugby games and concerts held at the home of football.
But the State Government wants a clean stadium at Burswood and will seek a commercial venue manager. The WAFC has formed a consortium to bid for the operating rights.
"The Premier must be held to account," Raponi said.
I think it’s time the commission explores this because any shortfall that the WAFC has will affect football in this state. And that is the WAFL, country football, amateur football and junior football, not the AFL."
Raponi said he had written to WAFC chairman Frank Cooper and chief executive Gary Walton about several issues and had urged them to stand up to the AFL.
Bretts comment on CHANNEL 7 DEAL WHEN GIVING THE ADDRESS
He was also unhappy that the draft fees paid to WAFL clubs were being reduced, continuing his address by allaying his concerns over the commission not yet being able to secure a television broadcast deal for 2015.
"The TV deal is still in a state of flux," he said.
"The commission has signed an MOU with Channel 7. But there's no sponsor. They (the WAFC) believe it will be on Channel 7 next year, but the fact they have not made an announcement says it must be somewhat in doubt."
When asked by members whether a Channel 7 deal would create a conflict because West Perth was sponsored by Channel 9, Raponi said it was a "non-issue". He said Channel 9 would again feature prominently on the front of West Perth’s jumper in 2015.
"Our deal was signed in February," Raponi said.
"The commission are fully aware of our partnership with Channel 9 and also fully aware of our precarious financial state.

I am of the opinion this address by Brett Raponi clears the WPFC of any wrong doing and full transperancy in getting the CHN 9 Sponsorship remembering the Sponsorship was already in place. Brett said above it was a NON ISSUE and the WAFC were fully aware of the sponsership
WP signed Channel 9 on as a sponsor on Feb 28 2014
WAFC Signed the contract with CHN7 on 7 March 2015
