Confirmed. West Perth will host the qualifying final at Joondalup next month. So, we have had to put up crap in the papers like West Perth will be penalized by moving their home ETC ETC.

I believe the WAFC will wait until the week before the preliminary final before any announcement will be made because the problem may go away, it depends if West Perth win the finals. I do know that some clubs are not happy with South's with their change of support to West Perth and one South's legend has had words with his president and CEO. I also know that were a couple of empty seats at the presidents lunch on Saturday, a form of protest.

That slimy little ex-WCE toerag Stuart Kemp has been gotten to & he is an AFL creep so expect nothing less , true colours have been revealed - his "work" isn't supported by many at our club & and I can't wait for all traces of him to be removed

Becoming happier & happier that I cast aside that repulsive & maggot-ridden VFL/AFL years ago

Counting the days until we are rid of that AFL name stealing imposter that trains at our home

Also counting the days until our next general elections - time for change over this debacle

WELL SAID SOUTHERNER

Kemp is a AFL ring in, and Raitt is weak as piss, the board is a joke compared to the past, Kemp is after a AFL gig and will do anyting he can to jump ship to WCE or the Shockers.

They pay Channel Seven the sponsorship doe in three states televising local football and they produce the telecasts for Channel Seven in three states. This was the focal point of Paul Murrays speech to the members at the Presidents lunch two weeks ago. Carl Langdon on Six PR announced the names of people involved in the Ticketing bidding so its not red hot, its old hat, we spoke about that a week ago.

Spot on Wingers

Cardy you seem like an interesting fellow but a bit behind mate.

Also cardy you have to be wary at the contrarians and powers at play here in this dog eat dog meadi industry . just because its written said or reported its going to have to be taken with a huge pinch salt, remember this is the media pumping its own wheels, Nine and Seven hate each others guts and will bag each other all the time, frankly I dont beleive much either of them are saying in this issue.

Then you have The West Oz a mouth piece for 7 the eagles and the AFL , they hate the Murdoch press - only opposition in WA The Sunday Times, who by the way hate 7 west and bag them all the time as well, then you have Fairfax who own 6PR who also hate Murdoch press and will bag teh Sunday Times and side with 7 west just to aggravate them coupled with that is Fairfax pays a mint for its AFL broadcast rights and will not want to risk that in the future, the whole Fairfax media eddifice is a near bankrupt busted arse of a business unit.

they all have their own vested interests in trying to damage their competitors , the WP saga is just a way of doing it.

BTW a lot of nostalgic people keep day dreaming about the ABCs glory days, remember they were the ones that WALKED away from WAFL and dumoed it on its arse, they were they ones that left the entire comp in the shit, so the ABC is really a contribitor to the current mess,if they had been any good and really loved the WAFL as much as some here suggest they would of at least chucked a bid in to compete with 7 9 for the coverage, but they didnt.

I realise these are scare tactics that are being put out by the WAFC and have stated that on numerous postings...

e.g
I cannot see it happening and like the Presidents message about kicking us out etc etc
it is just another attempt by this organisation (I USE THAT TERM LOOSELY) to make WPFC subject them to their demands

I am just giving links to the issue and sure a lot dont see them.. I suggest people read my whole posts rather than just picking up what a bit of the post.
I know I put a lot on and it is hard for some to actually read a whole post.

Dont shoot the messenger.

Ok will desist from updates to the issue for the people who are not up with it.
It is all old hat... Fark give me a break.
Thanks Steve for stating the obvious when I have already stated the obvious.

Enjoy your footy..

BTW. I WILL BE VERY DISSAPOINTED IF WEST PERTH HAVE TO REMOVE THE CHANNEL NINE LOGO OFF THEIR JUMPERS IF THEY MAKE THE FINALS. Now John, this a statement I want you to remember.

Interesting to note that G Walton appears to be particularly coy about his views on the WAFL. Corbin mentioned that it was impossible to get anyone fromt he WAFC to answer questions about the television deal and the ongoing saga with West Perth, Channel 9 and the finals. One would think that G Walton would be proactive in providing information to the WAFL public and would be very keen to ensure that the supporters of the WAFL are completely au fait with all that is happening with the WAFL. Surely he wouldn't want the WAFL supporters to be kept in the dark about his views on the WAFL competition?

The absurdity of the situation is encapsulated in the following. One can only imagine how many people would have noticed the Ch 9 logo on the West Perth jumpers if Channel 7 had chosen to televise some West Perth games. I would have thought that the number would be exceedingly low compared to the publicity that Channel 9 has got out of the non-televising of West Perth games. I would have thought it was not one of the smartest decisions the Channel 7 executives have made.
