spot on Jardine........can only fit 22 players into the league side on game day..... interesting to see what Keitel does if he can't break into WP league side during the year....a lot of talk about why the kid didn't get drafted....mobile versatile tall who had a pretty good 2014 in junior footy for EP & WA AND still over looked by all 18 AFL clubs?.....surely something not right there.....

.....but hey touch wood he knuckles down and gives WP a few years of good footy....WCE will no doubt find a replacement for EP in the next draft....beauty of the alignment I guess

Hypothetically if "East Perth" want him so badly maybe they can get West Coast Eagles to draft him at the end of this season.

Fair enough Grump but tall forwards of any note have been sparse, Tom Howlett kicked a few goals in colts. Let's not get hysterical about knocking players off the ball, revenge will be recruiting your best kids. Football managers are happy to shop these kids around to the highest bidder to get their 10 percent. No one knows how good this kid will be and I dare say Grump and myself are the only two on this forum that have seen almost all his colts football. He was not recruited due to lack of intelligence and a perceived softness, lack of work rate and poor training habits. He does take a nice mark though and has good spatial awareness.

I was told WCE wouldn't touch him with a barge pole now. One recruiter said he is validating every doubt we had in him from a character point of view.

how does that make you feel about the alignment, knowing this is an example of what to expect at EP now? You yourself see a player develop like that and then at the business end they leave for fear of limited opportunities. Im curious to know what you think.

Gee what would happen if his mum wasn't happy with the AFL team that ever drafted him?

I hate the alignment, I enjoy seeing the kids come through and going onto league football. Complete mis management is why we are in this situation. It's very easy for clubs and player managers to say you have no future at EP. Even if that is false, throw in parents football managers young ambitious men and it's easy to see what will happen.

No your club is in this situation because of single minded management by Howson - he made the decision by himself and then told your membership

No offence Southerner but your knowledge of the inner workings of the EPFC is anecdotal at best. People like Grump are open an honest and are the ones to listen to. Our former CEO has a fair few questions to answer. Thank heavens for Dean Turner.

so why didnt you do what Swans did and knuckle down financially and work your way out of it and show respect to your supporters instead of bending over for the Eagles ?
