Hi Guys, has anyone been involved in these meetings to change the logo and playing strip? I have heard another RUMOUR that a certain new member of the board is pushing for a new logo and is doing away with the Demon and unbelievably the sash. The removal is in favour of a new initials (PD) logo. Personally I bloody hope not. Can anyone shed any further light on this subject?

I have heard nothing of that. No way No Way No Way
Before we get rid of the Demon and/or the sash I believe that members must get a vote.
Madness to even be thinking of changes.
Anyone know which Board Member has suggested this??

Not me, no way. I'll be d extremely annoyed if the sash is removed.

geez this brings back memories of the jumper trial of 2 or 3 different Trident designs in the 80's
there was one good one but nothing came of them

I think that the centenary jumper 1999 was ok but, for me. the good old black with red sash will always be the one for the Demons.
A few seasons back we had a ridiculous white away strip. Terrible and no good when we played Souths at Freo Oval.

the PFC and Melbourne have not won flags between them for 100 years
red legs or rovers would be in line with the tradition of the club
there is no need to change the jumper at all

Surely this being only a rumour!?
I'd be strongly suggesting the Wafl and the 8 Wafl clubs have far more pressing issues that need attention first! Just my thoughts

Also heard the drastic changes affecting the jumper and logo. I do hope the Perth people become very vocal on this issue.

Here are a couple of rippers from the past. The Demons logo in the middle of the jumper with flames coming up from the bottom. From memory last time we played finals when we had Brett Spinks and Winston Abraham.

And can't find a colour image but I do recall seeing a pic of Colin Lofts I think wearing the experimental jumper with the big yellow pitch fork in the middle of it. Found this black and white image of a photo from a paper at the time.

Bring back the Ian Miller like Demon logo from the 1970s & 1980s that had an aura about it unlike the stylised version of this century.
Perth need to keep their historic jumper though that being the black with the red sash & red socks.
