For mine it looks like Felix the cat.

Put a tail on it and hope it’s a wonderful, wonderful cat.

It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

I’d love to see this happen.

At the last members forum meeting Bob Shields talked about changing the logo. Said that there was a positive reaction the the 120 year logo and that the intended to reuse this logo for the 125th year anniversary.

Now the memory is a bit sketchy but I’m pretty sure he said that they were trying to go away from branding themselves as the Demons as in some cultures the Demon is considered to be offensive. He made reference to Melbourne doing the same thing as well. So we will still, like Melbourne, affectionately be referred to as the Demons but will be branded as the Perth Football Club.

There was never any mention of the sash being removed from the guernsey.

I don’t mind the new logo however I wouldn’t mind seeing what it looks like with the inside of the PD coloured on a black base and the P and D initials coloured red.

After all we are the red and blacks not the black and whites.

That would be a great idea Southy and is something most sporting organisations/leagues have embraced in recent times.....

What would Swans retro jumper be BH? Let me guess, black and white vertical stripes?

Seriously though I think in your early 80's golden era that would be a winner. From memory the back of the jumper was all black with a big white patch with the number in black.

Haha yeah pretty much DD although I think for a brief period during the 1970s we had the black & white stripes on back and front with a black number (similar to Collingwood) and in the forgettable 2001/02 seasons we had the Port Adelaide style prison bars style (which I wasnt a great fan of tbh).
But yes our traditional and most successful style jumper has been the current one of black & white stripes on the front and black back with the white numbers.

A retro round would have to be sponsored or underwritten by the WAFC due to the extra cost or failing that, the clubs could auction signed jumpers to supporters after the games are played to recover the expense.

Is that what occurs for the Indigenous Round jumpers BC?
