good posts all -- if they are going to do it, the the red sash should be with the PD

If we are offering opinions, I coudn't give two hoots which logo is on the jumper as long as the sash is still there. There are two issues at play here with branding. Attracting new supporters v's bringing back old supporters. A new logo wont have any impact on new younger supporters but it might upset some current ones so no value.

Best wait and see what changes are mooted.
Not sure a change of colours are on the menu.
Mind you there have been a couple of changes over the years.
Albeit not that successful.
It may be more in the logo which has also changed a number of times.
The black jumper and red sash has also changed slightly.
remember during the 70s there was a red collar.
If my memory is correct this jumper began to be worn around the early 1940s.
For a long time it was red and black vertical stripes.
A contract will be put out on any person who suggests we change our colours to pruple. lol

Correct me if I’m wrong but there is no logo on the jumper currently and I can’t ever recall there being one apart from that late 90’s version I posted the other day. Apart from the red sash there are sponsor logos, jumper sponsors, WAFL logo and players numbers.

120 year logo last year was on jumper wasn’t it?

Yes it was. Down on left about hip area.

I bought this one 3 years ago but yes cant recall seeing the demon on a playing jumper for at least 4 years.

We've had some shockers in recent times that Phoenix Shutdown Services across the front of the jumper was a shocker as to was the Home sponsorship outfit from memory. Anyone got photo's of that?

I must admit that I don't have a recall of the Home one.

Someone mentioned the white one. I actually have one of them for reasons I cannot explain.

Interesting... looks a bit like a Demon in some ways....
Is it intended to be on the jumper? Presume it is black on red base or red on a black base???
Surely not on the chest in place of the red sash????
