Fisher is still only 17. Will be 18 in June. Not much of him but he gets in and under and out again with good ball skills.

Papertalk was handy at best. He has a long way to go IMO to justify 10 points but we will wait and see.

1. If we had made more of our opportunities we should have kicked 2-3 more goals in the first quarter and a bit
2. It's funny how majority of the time the retaliator gets caught. Still though undisciplined acts cost us 2 goals.
3. If the above happened then we would have probably gone into 3 qrt time even and not 3 goals behind
4. Lots of if's and buts but the truth is you have to make the most of your opportunities.
5. To kick the first 2 goals of the last and to get within a kick to then loose is completely unacceptable, even if it is round one. We went to sleep too many times last year and it cost us then as it did on the weekend.
6. A positive is that we were in a game till the 10 minute mark of the last quarter. Last year we would have been in games till just after half time.
7. Zac Fisher played extremely well and should play more league football in 2016.
8. Aidan Tropiano will be very lucky if he gets up and plays this week. Wolfenden probably his replacement but don't discount young Fraser Millar who had a good game as well.

Unfortunately Mr AFL most games of footy are full of "what ifs" i reckon West Perth in the same game could have come up with a list of there own "what ifs".
Yep you do have to make the most of your opportunties when the pressure is on.


Lets hope Angus Graham stays fit all year,i just ahd a look at the ressies ruck stats,West Perth had 82 h/o we had a paltry 29 there ruckman (1) had a massive 61 hit outs to our ruckman 13,unless we have ruckmen out injured then we are very thin (still) in that area.

I hope it was just a case of first game blues but i have that horrible feeling already,next week V Claremont is huge for this footy club.

I get that the deliberate out of bounds rule is changing but the umpires still need to use common sense.

Players kicking under pressure and on wrong foot, plus it was wet and Round 2 there has got to be a small amount of lenience.

The interpretation on 3 or 4 occasions really annoyed me.

Poor Clint Jones. Went and chased money, will never play finals footy whilst over at Lathlain.
