Zuccs was basically "tunnelled" close to the boundary. He looked quite fragile for a while but recovered and was serviceable in defence.

Don't write us off yet PN but you might want to pick your games more wisely ;).

Clint Jones I think was hampered by a thigh injury. Seemed reluctant to use his left foot. Losing Troppy early in the second qtr didn't help matters. Zac Fisher a real find. Zucconi as PN said serviceable, Jacobs gave us a lot of drive and the only one who consistently kicked the ball long. Stacky was good early but wasted a couple of chances we needed him to make. Spencer White dropped a couple of chest marks but so did many WP players today. Like Graham, dry conditions will probably suit him better.

All in all disappointing and improvement is required if we are any chance of playing finals footy this year.

Yeah that's true DD but I thought this game was the game we had the best chance of winning , out of the first three lol.

You will probably bring up your first win in rd 8

Well Swandog things dont get any easier from here with Claremont,Subi,South,East Perth and then Peel away followed by your mob.
So yeah thats a real possibility that round 8 could be our first win of the season.

Perth supporters duped again into believing this "is the season".

If he is a Gem that fell into our laps,I'll be most happy. :)

Grassy, Zac Fisher still 17 and out of our Colts side of last year. Played 9 games for average 20+ possessions. Still eligible for U/18s so will probably lose him later in the year. He will probably also be lost for Public Schools programme.

Time For a Flag wrote: Wow WP fans are the fastest dropping away fans I have seen in the last two years. Taking out their cultural game and the Derbies v EP they are well down. Rain today and off a loss I know but there were plenty of seats (that no one was allowed to sit in) spare in the Grand stand. Terrible set up for the rain up there.

Perth to set an example and front up next week for the home game. Pete excluded of course. Pete demands more from the team he supports.

I am a bit simple and just support, try and help out and see if i can get others interested.

Don't be like Pete

TFAF,

What the fark are you on about??? We were well represented as per usual. The spare seats in the stand you were referring too were (exposed to the elements, RAIN) thats why they were empty, there was a shed load of supporters in the club rooms keeping dry and there is no doubt that some stayed away due to the weather and a thing called (Easter long weekend holidays)........................

I am not sure it is all doom and gloom.
I know I am an optimist but we were in this game for a long time.
From what has been said here it was some acts of undisciplined play that led to the streak of 3 or 4 goals that turned the tide.
That in itself is something that Earl can work on.
Last year Kuenen would have won the hi touts easily.
Yesterday WP lost them 61 to 40 or thereabouts.
This a big turnaround and we have to learn to take advantage.
I think Angus had about 40 and Eyres about 20.
I think the use of 2 ruckman is a step in the right direction.
Our disposals were up there and our tackles were slightly down.
And we did not convert up front.
I think it is too early to say the season is written off.
It may take some time for the team to hell.
One game a season does not make.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!
I shot the fukin sherriff!!!!

Trouble is DF we are in a lot games most seasons only to fall away badly when it counts.
And we fall away 9 times out of 10 the same way.
In all honesty how many games are over time have "we been in" to then just drop away for various reasons and end up losing by a fair margin.

I think Graham will have a huge impact as the season gets going but Eyres i'm sorry to say is no value to the team at all imo.20 knockouts is one thing but id like to know how many of those were effective and to advantage,5 disposals,no kicks and no marks, not a good day out.

I agree its early days but one things for certain we'll know after the next 6 games which way our seasons heading.
A 41 point loss was not the ideal start to a new season making next weeks game a must win this early on because Subi away the following week well it doesnt get any tougher than that.

concerning wouldn't you think that Jones has a ridiculous 40 odd possessions and Graham has the better of his duel against one of the top ruckman in the WAFL and you still lose by nearly 7 goals?....Is Tropiano's injury any concern?.....

Great to see young Fisher excel on debut though.....in this climate however he won't be on your books long no doubt....with PSA and U/18 commitments will you guys see he him on the park much though? How much say do the schools have over one of their students availability?...It seems at a colts level PSA commitments take priority, is that the same when a kid is good enough to play senior footy?.....

Freezing, as reported earlier by someone else Fisher graduated from GGS last year so he will only have u/18 commitmentsthis year. That is if he is selected.
