Hmmm. Quite so Freezn. Neither can your lot.
Probably is a win win trade as it turns out.

Freezin, why can't we have it all our own way?
You wouldn't really begrudge us now would you?

Yep Dennis for Jones sounds good to me.

But tell me can Dennis play?

Big Earl thinks he can DF.....best u/23 player outside the WAFL was Earl's comment from memory....good luck to the kid......should I be moaning why EF footy manager has let a former u/18 state rep leave the club?.....can Reggie play DF?.... that's the question.....considering Dennis was a good enough youngster to be state rep a few years back......

smokester...I guess you mean George mate?...all Perth had to do was pay Subi some of that 100k plus profit they gained.... plus give Subi 2 half decent players on top.....I guess the latter was the sticking point hey mate?

SuperDude wrote: I see some suggestion that Reggie Jones, tall lanky forward who played colts footy for Perth in 2013, has turned up at East Fremantle.

He could kick a goal or two. Shame he won't be at Lathlain.

Hope the Jones boy goes alright. he can definitely play, however he doesn't like to train much. I believe he has been through three clubs in the past two years and I'm sure that will be the knock on him at all clubs.

If he can sort that issue out then he will be a very handy pickup for East Freo

Apparently there still seems to be some confusion over Jacob Payne. I was told he was signed but someone from the East Perth site said he is only training.

Don't see Dean Dick on that list. Is he still training? A few people have been to training for a look. He had a dodgy knee before, I would be curious to know if that's been sorted out otherwise we are just going to see him limping around again and gaining weight because he can't train.

DD, haven't heard much about Dean Dick since the Xmas break. He seems to have dropped off. Maybe the fitness regime was just too hard or maybe still doubt about his knee. He hasn't played WAFL since 2009 and was overweight at start of pre-season.
The word from the coach was that he had to lose up to 30 kilos. That is a big ask and I doubt that he has the will to meet that sort of commitment.
He is still registered as a Federals player.

I will be going to the first scratchie on Saturday which will be my first look at the playing group. Here is my focus list:

- Wolfendon - Hasn't been a lot said about Wolfy. Gee this guy was a real in and under player as I remember him and as a swan supporter mate of mine said "hes only little but tough as nails'. Hopefuly he continues this on with us after a year or so out of the WAFL system. Best we don't forget he polled equal 3rd in the sandover.

- Garlett - I have already spoken about this lad before the pre season and by all reprts of the intraclub he is set to be another forward asset. Again he was an AFL draftee and is now back playing at home.

- Latch - Should be at the peak of his powers as a defender with 2 solid WAFL seasons with Swans under his belt.

- McKenna - Don't worry this guy is a genuine 30+ possession midfielder on most days. He cleaned one game last year if I recall. Expect a real turnout with a new club.

- Troppo - This guy has the potential to be one of the best trades we have had in the last 5 years don't worry about that. This kid is not scared of finding the footy and will get plenty of it. Lets just hope he has settled in and can give the comp a real shake.......definitely under rated!

- Mitch Morton - I still think Jarrod was a huge coup for the club when he got him but his brothers did not show the same heart as he has (injuries exempt of course). Mitch with an ex CHF champ as coach should finally show his worth for the club and with Stacky and small forwards don't be surprised to see one of the most potent forward lines in the comp this year.

- Keast - Our no.1 shut down man for 2015. Seen some true tagging trates in this guy last year against some of the comps best midfielders and hope he has come back fitter, meaner and prepared to take the pressure of both troppo and hodgy if he returns.

Not a bad watch list for Saturday Lucifer. Where will be your vantage point?

- Wolfy hasn't played WAFL since 2011. Looked in reasonable knick though at the intra club and hoping that he can have an injury free year and we get to see plenty of that in and under stuff and maybe a couple of spectacular marks as well.

- Garlett wasn't an AFL Draftee mate. We have Rowan and I think you're getting confused with Cruize.

- Latch came to the club because it was closer to his work. He did manage to play 16 games last year in what most people come the end of the season thought was a pretty good Swans team. He should be starting as one of the key defenders for me.

- McKenna has been a ball magnet at lower levels and has still managed to find the ball at league level all though not as prolific. That game you were thinking of was last year were he had 28 possessions and got dropped. He is one that performed very well when tested at the AFL draft camp and is one that I am actually excited about coming into 2015. I have been saying for a while on here that we should get him and I'm finally happy that we did.

- Keast was one of the surprising packets of last season and was very good at shutting down some of the opposition players. Has his work situation changed, let's hope so.
