We'll know a bit more after the two intra-club games over the next two weeks. Sam Garstone might be a first 22 starter along with Liam McKenna.

I wonder if players will be made to drop and do 10 push ups if their kicks miss the target like they have been doing at pre-season training?

Shit Dazzler.
They must have done a lot of push ups.
We are world's worst at hitting targets.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.

Where has Lennon Marlon come from.
I notice Leeson is not named in the Perth squad on our website. Another to add to the very long list of outs from last season.

personal demon wrote: No doubt, ES, like any other coach, would have his best 22 in his mind at the moment with scratch matches coming up. Here's my go at reading his mind (helped along by updates on the senior playing list on the website):

B: Jarrod Irons - Chris Billings - Tobi Gianatti
HB: Michael Sinclair - Brent Latch - Jarryd Morton
C:Brett Wolfenden - Dene White - Dan O'Sullivan
HF: Kelvin Lawrence - Lennon Marlin - Matthew Boyle
F: Mitch Morton - Brennan Stack - Callum Collard

R: Christian Eyres - Brett Hodge - Aidan Tropiano

RES: Chance Bateman - Joel Kalajzic - Kieran Hug - Ben Power.

One name sticks out in that lineup PD - Lennon Marlin.
I noticed his name on the senior list. He returned modest stats in the Colts last year. A big call for CHF. Can you tell us more about him.

Would have thought Garstone or Arrangio to be given more opportunties, perhaps Ransted at full forward and keep him there rather than shuffling him all over the place, kicked 8 against swans if i remember correctly once??

Yep once and thats the trouble...to inconsistant.
I'm sorry but if we are falling back to the likes of Kane to be our main target we are in even bigger trouble than i thought.

You are right DF we cant play and expect 189cm players to dominate at CHF unless they are a James Hird and Smokey you are right...moderate stats at best!!

Our spine in that likely line-up is mediocre at best and the trouble is we are unlikely to come up with one thats to much better than that!

Id play Mitch Morton as a high half forward,Lawrence closer to goal,Boyle....not in the forward line at all,Dene White is not a centreman, imo,id rather someone with more pace and a penetrating kick.
I have my doubts with Billings as a Key positional player and wouldnt have him at full back.
Id also like to see Jarryd Morton moved out from the backline and played further up the ground..

The club imo has done absolutely nothing to improve our list from 2014.
We will be lucky to surpass the year 2000 win/loss record of 1 win for the season.

Problem is we have recruited the big name players in the past but what have they done for us??? Better to have keen players playing for the jumper rather than guys like Leon Davis who dont have their heart in it.

I disagree i think we have recruited some top notch players that have performed very well for us.
The problem we have had is convincing them to stay and i reckon 95% of them have moved on because we just dont seem to go anywhere as a club, promise plenty but deliver nothing.

If you dont improve your list with some sound recruiting...then it's quite simple the gap between us and the others in the comp will just get greater as it already has the season.

Re-Davis i agree, looking back he'd done most things on a footy field and probably lacked a fair bit of motivation,he was on the wrong side of 30 plus the coach wouldnt of helped matters either.
