For me I reckon it's Darren Harris.

I have always said Darren Harris even before McMahon was first appointed,he would be my number 1 target.
After that its pretty slim pickings,Micale is past it(too old) imo,Watters had a ready made outfit at Subi...right place right time ditto for Waterman.

Thinking outside WA Gary Ayes has coached teams in 3 Gf'S(1 AFL,2 VFL) for 1 flag at VFL level with Port Melbourne,5 times a premiership player,if Harris was unavailable he would be worth a thought.

30+ we could get a good list together if it was to include Harris & of course Mark Harvey.
Not sure which of those to I prefer given one has coached at AFL level.

Agree Watters, Micale, Waterman are not for me.

Isn't Harvey an assistant at Brisbane? the way Leppisch is going he might be in the frame for another senior AFL job.

I reckon having that wafl experience at Playing,coaching,finals and flags is what gets Harris over the line for me.
Of course you can't always get your man so Ayres,Harvey etc... would be the next candidates.

McMahon is to silly to get the hint,if the club allowed it he'd be there forever and wouldnt think nothing of it!

BC Harvey was at Brisbane last year,he is living back in WA now and is on 6pr sportstalk 1 night a week.
