I'm not sure I agree with Stack being dropped. At his best he would be in our best 8 players and he'd also be one of the highest paid at the club. Granted his form hasn't been great but the club should back him in and he doesn't get paid to play dags. I'd grab him by the thruff of the scroat before they run out and tell him it's his turn to step up. We know what he can produce. Pointless him playing ressies

And Florio better fire too. Always has pretty good stats but he's way too soft. Should be one of our best players now with the amount of league games he's played but in reality he's still a fringe player

Couldnt agree more.
Plus whats the point of having 10 point players in the ressies ala Hunt for 6 weeks, doesnt make any sense imo.

TFAF i tip us when i think we will win,i dont tip us to win every week and thus go through the season undefeated...like some do!

Fair enough 30+.

To be fair I think T Hunt was injured a couple of times and from what I saw of him on Saturday at the Freo Ressies game he looked to have a big shiner too.

We do generally play our 10+ point players though. AKA Moody, Bev, and the Mortons. I am pretty sure that everyone would agree that all of these have been worth the 10.

Whether T Hunt becomes another one remains a mystery. If he does though then we as a club would be very very happy with our recruiting.

And praise would have to go to someone. Lets not forget we unearthed another very good player last year - back pocket specialist from Vic - Yes I do forget his name (but I have had a few as usual) and he had to go back to Vic because of his girlfriend (who as a side looked v good). Anyone know his name?

To be honest though I dont know if this T Hunt is a wingman or a backman etc. And before anyone says "why don't you get off your arse and get to the Ressies game" as I have been asked before - Well I have two kids who put up with 3 hours at the footy pretty well, but I think 5 to 6 hours would test them.

Do you think Floz should be back this week 30+?
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

My understanding was that Tim Hunt was supposedly recruited as a hard at it in and under midfielder.Haven't seen much of him in the ressies, but obviously not stepping up.
Would be handy if he did, he could give Dene White a helping hand and maybe improve our clearances.

Dumb move. Did he leave the toilet seat up again or something? The selectors have no idea. Schofield would be licking his lips at that prospect. You try kicking 4 a week when the balls getting bombed onto your head like a lunchtime schoolyard kick to kick.

I have to disagree with some on Stack being dropped. He hasn't fired a shot all season and has been given more opportunities than are warranted. He hasn't even had a hand in many goal assists. The message had to be sent. Collard coming in easily covers his loss. Interesting to see Busher named at FF. I hope he lines up there. We have been lacking a big marking target all year. Billings coming in has probably allowed that switch to take place. Should be a cracking game. Go Dees!

I agree re-Stack,perhaps moving him during a game to a half back flank for a quarter or so to get his hands on the ball and into the game may be the go...nothing permanent.
I do think our coaches lack imagination during a game.

Busher i dont think is in the "big marking target" catagory,in saying that we have no-one else at the club that would even come close to being called a KPP!!
So hopefully this weekend Busher can take 8 or so grabs up forward and kick a few.

Irons must be injured.
Good to see Collard back. Boyle a bit lucky to keep his place. He didn't fire a shot last week.

Hampson a big in for Subi.

Nope. We have a list that's not overly blessed with class and that's one thing Stack has. If he's not firing a shot up forward then move him. FFS it's not as if he's played full forward his whole career.
Put him down back or on a wing, get him near the footy. The more I think about it it's bloody stupid

Not mentioned on club website injury list. Current as at 6/5/14. Bit of a mystery. Pity there was no demons to redlegs radio show on Wed. That normally gives a bit of info. Good article on Mitch Morton in the west this morning. I actually think the west do a good job on coverage of the WAFL. A little too much on the swans maybe.
