What a huge game for both sides this week. Perth need to win to stay in the loop and Subi will want to get back on the winners list. Hopefully Clem Smith is back for us. I don't know why he missed the Peel game, some stupid u18s tour or something I guess. Also Jarryd Morton is probably an out. He will be missed. Billings did a reasonable job when moved into defence.

stupid 18's tour....geez so playing footy for your state aint a big thing is it cesspit?......yeah it's fustrating not to have these kids like Clem playing each week, especially when a fella like Clem will be drafted next year.....but really would you deprive Clem of the honour of a possible Larke medal, A/A selection and playing in a championship winning side?.....just so you the Perth fan can see him wear the red & black!....bit short sighted don't you think?

Does anyone know why Clem was a late withdrawal. he was named in the side in saturday's paper.
I can hear an out of tune violin being played many miles east of here. I wish someone would tune it or preferably break it.

the u/18's played a trial match v WP u/23's on sat......surely that's got more importance than playing some stupid WAFL match v the Peel dockers in the kids development cesspit?

naagh reckon that violin whining is definitely west of the Tasman cesspit.....sounds like it has more of an Indian Ocean whinge to it ;)....unbreakable me thinks

What is the matter with Jarryd Morton?

His development, which you seem so concerned about, would be helped by playing WAFL league football against strong opposition, a bit like players such as Rich and Coniglio were. The u/18s championship itself is set aside and I agree he should be playing in that. It is the tours and supplimentary games, like the West Perth u/23s that I object to. Meaningless waste of time whereas he and a few others who may be at league level, are deprived of the chance to ready themselves for the AFL next season.

And yes why shouldn't the WAFL public be entitled to watch the best available players. Has the competition become so irrelevant to people like you that it just plays 3rd or 4th fiddle to mickey mouse warm up games. I'm sure the vast majority of posters on here would agree with me, but of course you will take a contrary position as usual.

I think it might be a knee injury, not sure how bad.

Sorry Freezin I actually think playing against or along side proven men like Beven, the Mortons, Bradley, Ibbotson etc etc will develop his game much much quicker.

When somebody says something like Morton's out can you tell us why and for how long and who you heard it off ffs.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

FFS ? Well he came off during the 3rd quarter and didn't return. He was limping and had his boots off. I'm pretty sure he is injured don't you think. A wild guess on my part but I didn't hear it from somebody so it can't be true.

It was also stated in the match write up in the West Australian yesterday that Morton left the field in the third quarter with a knee injury. Happy now.
