Yep, I saw plenty of times what he could do with a football and to an opposition player while in a Perth jumper. I reckon you Swans boys must look at each other at the footy and say how on earth did Perth let this bloke go?

I dont doubt that in a weaker wafl comp Rogers is not a bad pickup but please he wouldnt carry Barry Kimberleys bags to a game,comeon!!
Kimberly Premiership player in a tough comp,Rogers would have struggled to get a ressies game in that era!!!!

Barry Kimberly was a much much tougher hard at it and better player than Rogers,end of story.

Even Clarko was a better footballer and for what its worth Elari has been a better pick up for you guys than Rogers.

Refresh my memory here didnt Rogers get dropped from your team for your 1st semi final game last season against East Perth???

Kimberley 159 wafl games,2 x premiership player,Simpson medalist...Rogers comes nowhere near him,at this stage.
Rogers for you guys is an ok pick-up thats all.
If he was this gun player he wouldnt have got dropped for your first semi.

30+ he only got replaced for that 1st Semi because Embley came back to us from WCE and he played in his position at half forward it had nothing to do with form. Harding has admitted it was the hardest decision he has had to make in his coaching career!

The other one that got away fom the Dees back around that time was a bloke named Colin Waterson who went to Old Easts - geez didn't he kick some goals , must have played over 200 games all told surely

Subi let the great Don Marinko Snr go to West Perth after 3 games with the Maroons.

West Perth returned the favour many years later by not finding a spot for Gary Buckenara on their senior list and he subsequently tried out at Subi and became a great.
